Pic of the month is so lame sometimes. The people vote everyone ahead of them down and people create fake user names to vote them selfs up.

I was thinking maybe a new system should be thought about how to prevent that

I agree that it really is not about the quality of the pic itself. In fact, it seems that some of the nicer pics get voted down. Maybe don't allow those who enter to vote on other pics, or only allow positive votes.

Yep I think it is an absolute waste of time - it is not about picture quality, it is purely about who can drum up the most support. I think admin should scrap it and replace it with something new and interesting - god knows what though!!!
