This is soooooo true! According to the laws of physics, heavier things traveling at 80 mph go much slower than lighter stuff travelling at 80 mph.
This also applies to measuring weight. Everyone knows that a pound of feathers is much lighter than a pound of salt.

actually ... she's only having trouble understanding what "per" means and how it translates to a mathematical operation. she clearly hasn't had any experience using math like this, but instead of getting frustrated or angry or giving up, she tries all sorts of different approaches to figuring it out from first principles. and when they don't work out, she abandons them and tries new ones.

and at one point, just guesstimating from tire rotation and her own running speed, she basically gets the right answer. even though the reasoning behind it is baffling.

anyway, seems really intelligent, comfortable with difficult situations, and probably just spent too much time studying penises when she should have been in math class.
