I don't see a reason to be offended by a compliment. I'm straight, but I'm choosing to post pictures of myself on this site for everyone who wants to look at them. Compliments are flattering. I did have one person be a bit pushy about interacting with them. I told them, that's not what I'm into, but they didn't seem to care. I just blocked them. I guess it happens sometimes.
