Not weird, and in a way quite logical. The vast majority of the performers in gay porn are straight. So a woman can watch a scene and fantasize thinking, "He's doing that with a guy, but he'd much rather be doing it with a woman...like me!"

Sir, I agree with you that many of the actors doing gay porn are straight in their private lives, but I kind of doubt that the vast majority are. Of course we cannot know what the true percentage is because it would be really difficult to get good numbers here. Many are truely gay and are putting their heart and soul into the sex they are having with their scene partners. The sex is real. Others are straight and are just acting.
