I had (natural, no epidural) virginal birth and ended up with an episiotomy, when I went in for my 6 week check up I was told I could have surgical reconstruction or do vaginal exerciser.. Thanks for the information. That's what I'm trying to go for, but hospital in my town have a very high rate of c sections and it seems like they tend to safe route every time they can.

I was charged an additional $1,400 for the episiotomy itself…. They cut me open with out any anesthetic and charged me a fee for it… my natural birth cost more then my friends planed cesarian

By the time I'll be giving birth, I'll be close to reaching my out of pocket max, so I'm not really worried about the cost, they'll charge me whatever they can.

It was my own fault… I opted for all natural, and by the time my delivery went south it was to late to give me anything, they just wanted to get her out quickly
