Anytime a Manager made a decision, especially against a person that received extra points in an interview, and bias during investigations for breaking rules, etc., as directed by our HR (i.e. women, minorities, etc.—I am sure I didn’t say that correctly, but meant nothing negative). My biggest issue was when we as Managers had to write up a complete several page justification as to why we didn’t hire the woman, minority, etc. for a position, and could not use reasons like: under qualified, not enough years of experience, lacked the necessary advanced education or training, or the opposite for the white male; and the list goes on. So, we as white males, were discriminated against for something we had no part in playing when putting in for jobs; also when fairly trying to hold women or minorities accountable for breaking rules, and yes on performance issues. A complete bias for non-white males. So, how in the hell is that not hypocrisy at its finest? And those women and the minority in HR (and you dem’s) Stand Tall and feel good about yourselves discriminating against the white male (and white females at times)? You all are such Hippocrates, and I was even taken to the woodshed for speaking out against this discriminating behavior. By our HR (again, all women and an African American). I took the lashings and had to move on.

To answer your question about evil; by my definition, evil is about actions that overall decrease well-being of sentient beings, humans in particular. I don't think there is an objective good or an objective evil, it's just the intent and result of actions. By my standards, some of what god has been doing, according to the bible, is evil.

The idea of taking from the rich to feed the poor is ridiculous. The last decades, your government has shifted trillions of dollars from the poor to the rich and wealthy. A tiny percentage of wealthy Americans owns almost everything in the US and it's getting worse. That's why many people need several jobs to keep their heads above water. That's why you have so many homeless. That's why healthcare is the most expensive

He was just as much an atheist then as I am now, but he listened to them and explained why he's unable to believe it. I joined them often. My knowledge on the subject wasn't as much developed back then. They stopped visiting us when I just started studying science.
I already knew a lot about evolution beforehand, but if you know exactly how it works, you can't accept a religion that denies it. I could at best accept some vague deism, but that's not what the people "knocking on my door" want to sell me.

to get out of the ground, which increases the prices. At some point in the not too distant future it's gone, and we don't have a backup planet.
We as humans crawled, walked, and started riding animals and then rode in things towed by the animals until the infernal automobile came along.things change with time naturally and as tech changes.

Oil and cars are the same, come up with a better mode of transport,and it will evolve and replace. but mandating it,doesn't make it happen any faster,doesn't make it any cheaper because it is required and the makers know that and charge how ever much they wish.
