I'm hoping California Governor Gavin Newsom will run for President in 2028. I will vote for him. His state is the most successful state in the Union. The Clown should take notes.

Here is one of Saggy's heroes in his 1996 State of the Union speech:

"But there are some areas that the federal government should not leave and should address and address strongly. One of these areas is the problem of illegal immigration. After years of neglect, this administration has taken a strong stand to stiffen the protection of our borders. We are increasing border controls by 50 percent. We are increasing inspections to prevent the hiring of illegal immigrants. And tonight, I announce I will sign an executive order to deny federal contracts to businesses that hire illegal immigrants. Let me be very clear about this: We are still a nation of immigrants; we should be proud of it. We should honor every legal immigrant here, working hard to become a new citizen. But we are also a nation of laws.”

Gavin NewsCUM: A Governor Driving California to Collapse

California, once a symbol of American prosperity and innovation, now teeters on the brink of fiscal and social collapse. Much of this decline can be directly attributed to the policies and priorities of Governor Gavin Newsom. Under his leadership, the state has not only accumulated a staggering $12 billion budget deficit but is also plagued by high crime, a worsening homelessness crisis, crumbling infrastructure, and wasteful spending. The Governor’s decisions reflect a pattern of political optics over practical governance, leaving Californians burdened and frustrated.

A Broken Budget and Ballooning Liabilities

The $12 billion budget deficit is only the tip of the financial iceberg. California’s unfunded public pension obligations amount to hundreds of billions of dollars, a looming crisis that politicians like Newsom continue to ignore. Instead of tightening the belt or instituting meaningful reform, the state government persists in spending freely—especially on programs that do little to benefit the taxpayers footing the bill.

Among the most egregious examples is California’s commitment to providing healthcare for undocumented immigrants, regardless of the state’s fiscal condition. This policy, while perhaps well-meaning, drains billions from the state's already overburdened healthcare system, contributing further to the deficit while offering little return to the average Californian struggling with rising costs and declining services.

Gas Prices Set to Soar

Full libtard logic- Shut down refineries that run the entire state! Fucking muppets. On July 1, Californians will be hit with yet another gas tax increase, further compounding one of the state’s most regressive burdens. California already boasts the highest gas prices in the nation, and Newsom’s support for shutting down in-state refineries is poised to push prices above an astounding $8 per gallon. This is not only economically punishing for the average commuter—it also drives up the cost of goods and services across the board, making life increasingly unaffordable. Translation- more cunts on welfare or leaving the state!

Shutting down refineries in the name of environmental progress sounds noble on paper, but in practice, it ignores basic economic realities. Reduced refining capacity will leave California dependent on out-of-state oil, all while continuing to subsidize electric vehicle incentives for a population that largely cannot afford them.

Crime and Homelessness Spiral Out of Control

California’s major cities, including San Francisco and Los Angeles, have seen surging crime rates and a seemingly unmanageable homelessness epidemic. Newsom has failed to support robust law enforcement or adopt effective crime prevention strategies. At the same time, billions have been funneled into homelessness initiatives with little accountability or transparency. Soros prosecutors stopped enforcing the law. Fucking ridiculous!

In Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass has refused to open an audit into the billions already spent on homelessness. The lack of oversight should alarm every taxpayer. Where is the money going? Why is the crisis worsening despite record spending? These questions remain unanswered under Newsom’s watch. Her refusal just happened AFTER she also fucked up the fires this year.

Instead of addressing root causes or evaluating the efficacy of existing programs, Newsom and his allies continue to throw money at the problem, hoping it will go away. Meanwhile, public parks, sidewalks, and even residential neighborhoods are overtaken by encampments, driving down quality of life and safety for everyone. Junkies run downtown LA and there is an APP that tells you were humans have pooped in San Fran!

A High-Speed Rail to Nowhere

No discussion of Newsom’s failed leadership would be complete without mentioning California’s infamous high-speed rail project. Originally approved by voters in 2008, the project was promised as a revolutionary transportation solution connecting San Francisco to Los Angeles. Over a decade and $17 billion later, not a single stretch of usable track has been laid.

Despite ballooning costs, missed deadlines, and widespread public skepticism, the project marches on, devouring public funds that could have been used to repair roads, invest in schools, or improve water infrastructure. It stands as a monument to mismanagement, yet Newsom continues to support it, unwilling to pull the plug on what has clearly become a boondoggle.

Infrastructure Neglected

While billions are wasted on a train to nowhere, California’s basic infrastructure is falling apart. Roads are potholed, bridges are deteriorating, and the state’s water storage and delivery systems—vital in a drought-prone region—are outdated and overtaxed. Instead of investing in these essential systems, Newsom’s budget prioritizes flashy projects and ideological programs that do little to address everyday needs.

The same can be said of the electrical grid. Rolling blackouts are now a routine part of life for Californians, especially during heatwaves. Yet the state insists on accelerating the shutdown of natural gas and nuclear power plants, replacing them with renewables that, while important long-term, are currently incapable of sustaining peak demand. Last year, scummy gov told Californians NOT to charge their EV cars due to too much strain! You can't make this shit up!

Conclusion: Time for a Reckoning- No chance for the White House- Won't even get the nomination!

Governor Gavin Newsom has overseen an era of economic decline, social disorder, and fiscal irresponsibility. His administration has failed to prioritize the needs of Californians, instead chasing headlines and politically expedient causes. Whether it’s skyrocketing gas prices, rampant homelessness, crumbling infrastructure, or a high-speed rail fiasco, the facts are clear: California is in crisis, and Newsom’s leadership is a major reason why.

It is time for voters and lawmakers alike to demand accountability, transparency, and a return to responsible governance. California can still be a beacon of prosperity—but only if it sheds the political dysfunction and misplaced priorities that have defined the Newsom era.

Attacking cops and looting businesses will be his legacy!

Stupid Cat thinks CA is so great! Then again, her education is lacking on so many levels!

There you go again, showing off your big brain and 4th grade math skills! Low-level grammar too!

"an yet..." You should have used And yet...

CA government does NOT fund the federal government. Nor does any state. Residents with jobs and businesses pay federal taxes. And nothing close to 60% either.

Illegals pay NOTHING to contribute to the US. They leach off freebies and send their wages back to their shit hole countries.

This is just for Mexico:

In 2024, Mexican households received approximately $64.75 billion in remittances, a record level

Through the first four months of 2025, Mexico received about $19.02 billion in remittances—a 2.5 % decrease compared to the same period in 2024.

Businesses, depending on how they are legally structured, pay different rates.

If CA is so fucking great, why don't you move there? Oh wait, you can't afford to live in that democrat cesspool!

You reap the benefits of strong republican leadership and low taxes in Florida.
By CAT52! at 13,Jun,25 16:12 other posts of CAT52!
The first is a spell check error. You don't get to criticize my way of writing just because I make mistakes just like everyone else. About the rest of my post, every state contributes to the national coffers and then the feds redistributes it back to the states. What I was trying to say, and perhaps you are right that I stated it wrongly, is that that distribution is uneven. Some states contribute more than what they get back. The Feds pay for the cost of doing business by collecting taxes in many forms.
I live in Florida because I was born in Coral Gables, Florida, and, like most people, I've stayed close to my roots. I've never complained about my state. I've complained about the present government
By Sir-Skittles at 14,Jun,25 14:32 other posts of Sir-Skittles
Moron- states do NOT directly take from their budget and give it to the feds- That is a simpletons view. CA gives about 13% of taxes collected via taxes.

Did you sleep through your entire limited time in school?

I have never seen someone so dumb that they keep doubling down on inaccurate information. Fucking hell.

Cat says CA is the "most successful state in the union."

I say pull your head out of your ass!

Where California struggles—morally and fiscally:

Debt and Budget Issues:

Despite its large economy, California’s debt burden is massive, especially with unfunded public pension liabilities. Estimates vary, but the total unfunded liabilities (pensions, retiree healthcare, etc.) exceed $1 trillion when fully accounted for. A TRILLION dollars! Jesus fuck.

Budget surpluses in good years often swing back to deficits when the economy slows. As of 2024-25, CA is facing multi-billion-dollar shortfalls.

Cost of Living and Homelessness:

California has some of the highest housing costs in the country, pushing out middle-class families.

Homelessness is a humanitarian crisis—over 180,000 homeless people, including many mentally ill and drug-addicted, and billions spent with few results.

Outmigration:

Many residents and businesses are leaving the state for Texas, Arizona, Florida, and Nevada, citing high taxes, regulation, and crime. All GOP states!

Moral and Governance Criticism:

Critics argue California’s progressive leadership prioritizes ideology over public safety, education, or economic balance.

Illegal immigration, drug use, and urban decay (like in San Francisco and parts of Los Angeles) are often cited as signs of moral and civic decline.

CA does not show their under funded pension on their books due to some accounting regulations... but they are broke AF

How Liberal Democratic Policies Continue to Undermine America Despite Electoral Defeats

Despite suffering electoral losses and growing public dissatisfaction, liberal Democrats continue to push a political agenda that is damaging the social, economic, and moral fabric of the United States. Through their influence in state governments, media, academia, and activist groups, they promote policies that foster lawlessness, prioritize illegal immigrants over American citizens, and enable radical groups that perpetuate violence and division. These consequences are visible daily—on our streets, at our borders, and in our schools—and threaten the very principles that sustain American democracy and sovereignty.

Lawlessness and the Normalization of Riots

One of the most disturbing trends encouraged by liberal Democrats is the normalization of political violence under the guise of “social justice.” In the summer of 2020, American cities were ravaged by protests that frequently turned into violent riots. Businesses were looted and burned, police officers were attacked, public monuments were destroyed, and entire city blocks were taken over by anarchists—as seen in Seattle’s CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone).

Rather than condemning this violence unequivocally, prominent Democrats either downplayed it or outright supported it. Then-Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris promoted a bail fund for rioters in Minneapolis. Congressional members like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley made statements that appeared to rationalize destruction as a form of “justice.” Democratic mayors in Portland, Chicago, and New York refused to allow police departments to crack down on rioters, only fueling the chaos.

This permissiveness toward violence when it serves left-wing causes erodes public trust in institutions and sets a dangerous precedent: that political goals can be achieved through intimidation and mob rule. It undermines peaceful, lawful resolution of grievances—the cornerstone of a functioning democracy.

Prioritizing Illegal Immigrants Over U.S. Citizens-Disgusting!

Liberal Democrats consistently advocate for open borders, sanctuary cities, and expanded welfare benefits for illegal immigrants—even as Americans face growing economic and social challenges. Every major blue city in the US is in economic ruin. Crime and illegals have destroyed America like a bunch of locusts.

History shows this isn’t new. In 1996, President Bill Clinton (Saggy's hero) signed a law allowing expedited deportations without due process for undocumented immigrants. Later, President Barack Obama deported over 3 million people, more than any previous president, and urged prospective migrants not to send their children to the border.

Contrary to current Democratic claims, it was the Obama administration—not Trump—that first placed detained illegal immigrants in chain-link holding areas, known as “cages.” The narrative around family separation has also been weaponized politically. When American citizens are arrested, they don’t bring their families to jail—so why should illegal immigrants receive different treatment?

Democrats now blame Donald Trump for the illegal immigration crisis, despite policy groundwork laid by previous administrations. For example, when Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, the wealthy liberal enclave quickly moved to remove them, revealing that while liberal elites support open borders in theory, they reject the consequences in their own communities.

Meanwhile, thousands of illegal immigrants are housed in taxpayer-funded hotels in major cities, often displacing American veterans and low-income families. Liberal pushes to grant non-citizens voting rights, driver’s licenses, and taxpayer-funded healthcare undermine the rights and resources of American citizens.

The Trump administration must also crack down on the funding sources behind riots and violent unrest, which are often supported by domestic and foreign groups. Additionally, it should halt or severely tax wire transfers sent to Mexico and other countries when those funds come from untaxed wages earned in the U.S. A 46% tax on such transfers would deter tax evasion and protect American workers.

The High Cost of Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers over $150 billion annually, according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). These costs include education, healthcare, welfare, law enforcement, and incarceration.

Schools in border states struggle to meet the needs of non-English-speaking students, and hospitals absorb costs for uninsured patients. The narrative that illegal immigrants fill “jobs Americans won’t do” ignores how mass low-skilled immigration depresses wages and job opportunities, especially for minorities and working-class citizens.

By refusing to enforce immigration laws, Democrats prioritize foreign nationals over their own citizens, undermining economic fairness and social cohesion.

Support from Radical and Violent Organizations

Groups like Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa have received financial and ideological support from liberal donors, corporations, and politicians. BLM raised tens of millions after George Floyd’s death but provided little transparency about fund usage, while pushing radical agendas that include defunding police departments.

Antifa has carried out violent attacks on law enforcement and journalists, declared “autonomous zones,” and disrupted civic life in cities like Portland and Seattle. Many Democrats refuse to denounce these groups or downplay their activities, effectively emboldening extremism.

This permissive attitude toward violence threatens civil society and the rule of law, core values that should transcend political affiliations.

Electoral Losses Don’t Slow the Agenda

Even after losing elections (more like clobbered), liberal Democrats maintain disproportionate influence through courts, bureaucracies, media, and educational institutions. In states like California and Illinois, Democratic supermajorities pass laws that decriminalize crime, expand benefits to non-citizens, and restrict parental rights in education.

Federal judges appointed during Democratic administrations block immigration enforcement and voter ID laws, while liberal school boards promote radical ideologies. Electoral defeats have not resulted in meaningful policy changes; Democrats use bureaucratic power and media to push their agenda, often against voter wishes.

Conclusion: A Crossroads for the Nation

America is at a critical crossroads. The continued influence of liberal Democratic policies, even after public rejection, threatens to fundamentally change the nation in unacceptable ways. Prioritizing illegal immigrants over citizens, tolerating riots, and undermining law and order is not compassion—it’s political opportunism with dangerous consequences.

The solution requires more than electoral wins. It demands accountability, legal enforcement, and a return to values of hard work, personal responsibility, and national sovereignty. Only then can America reverse decades of liberal overreach and restore a government that serves its people—not ideology.

Face it, liberalism is dying!

cat52!- where is that pic of your scar you old loon?

Everyone knows you did not have that surgery! In fact, most heart surgery does not involve cracking the chest these days. Just a small incision. A pathetic attempt to get attention and to remain relevant!

And speaking of pictures, I had a professional photographer analyze her pictures. Several of her pictures were taken on 35mm film- last used in the 1990's! Here is his official report to detect her fraud:

1. Film Grain

Visible, irregular grain structure is one of the most distinct signs of 35mm film. Unlike digital noise, film grain:

Is more uniform in the shadows

Varies across the image in a natural, organic way

Differs by film stock (e.g., Kodak vs. Fujifilm)

2. Color and Tonal Characteristics

Scanned film often shows:

Subtle color shifts, sometimes with a slight green, red, or magenta tint

Lower contrast in raw scans unless edited

Smooth highlight roll-off; blown-out areas look softer than digital clipping

Richer shadows and dynamic range in black and white film

3. Edge Artifacts

If the scan includes the film border, you may see:

Sprocket holes

Film type markings like “Kodak 400TX”

Frame numbers

These are strong indicators of 35mm film origin.

4. File Metadata

Scanned images often lack typical EXIF data (camera model, lens, shutter speed, ISO, etc.).

If present, metadata might mention a scanner (e.g., Epson V600, Plustek, Nikon Coolscan), revealing its scanned-from-film origin.

Resolution may also be unusual, such as 3420 Ч 2280.

5. Halation and Bloom

Some film stocks, especially color negative film, create a soft red or orange glow around bright light sources, known as halation.

This glow is not present in purely digital images.

6. Imperfections

Scanned film images may contain:

Dust or small scratches

Fibers or specks from the scanning surface

Slight vignetting or edge softness if not scanned perfectly

7. Subject and Context

Sometimes the subject matter gives a clue:

Dated clothing, cars, or architecture- like what we see in her pictures!

A vintage aesthetic or composition style

Conclusion:

Not a single picture is less than 20 plus years old! A site fraud!

Other comments from our trained fraud detector:

-what kind of old cow puts pictures of her old wrinkled body on a sex site?

- Face of a prawn, body of a rhino, and legs of a sumo wrestler!

- Her tits look like a student driver crushed some traffic cones!

- That snatch looks so loose she if she sat on someone's face, they would be wearing a 10 gallon hat! Disgusting I know!

The sudden return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States on Friday to face federal charges of smuggling migrants across the country was a messaging triumph for the Trump administration.

The news deflected public attention from a series of unanimous court rulings — including a Supreme Court decision — that President Donald Trump did not have the power to unilaterally detain and deport individuals to foreign prisons without a review by a judge.

If they can't do it the legal way, they'll do it illegally. They can't admit a mistake to save their lives.

Trump set to pardon reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley of fraud and tax evasion convictions

well it's like this, if murderers were punished with equal zeal as folks these and Martha Stewert i wouldn't think much of it.
According to FBOP records, Todd Chrisley will be released on June 11, 2032, two years sooner than his original sentence. Julie Chrisley's sentence was reduced by 14 months and will be released in March. 23, 2028. Back in September, her request for a reduced sentence was rejected by U.S. District Judge Eleanor L. Ross.

Martha Stewart was “filled with joy” after being released ...
Martha Stewart was sentenced to five months in federal prison. She served her time at the Alderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia. Additionally, she was ordered to serve five months of home confinement and two years of probation.
The sentence stemmed from her conviction for lying to federal investigators and obstruction of justice in relation to her sale of ImClone stock. While initially charged with insider trading, she was ultimately convicted on the obstruction and perjury charges.

It right because a jury of his and their peers said so and that's as close to justice as we can achieve. You, Phart, just will not see this. You think the law is good for the goose but not the gander. Busses owned by private companies never drive of cliffs, that is true.
By phart at 13,May,25 18:39 other posts of phart
knowing that government will hire the less qualified to do a job because of equality here in the US is why i look at this as a example of how that can go wrong
driving a bus full of people is a great responsibility and only those with skill, experience and training should be doing it.regardless of race or anything else.
By Ananas2xLekker at 14,May,25 08:57 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
It's the exact opposite. Private companies hire less qualified people to do a job,
TO SAVE AND MAKE MORE MONEY.

Sri Lanka has one of the highest road traffic fatality rates in South Asia. According to the World Health Organization, the country records approximately 3,000 road traffic deaths annually.

When comparing accident rates per kilometers traveled, privately owned buses in Sri Lanka exhibit higher fatality rates than publicly owned buses operated by the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).
- Private Buses: 0.31 fatalities
- SLTB (Public) Buses: 0.14 fatalities

This indicates that private buses had more than double the fatality rate per kilometer compared to public buses.

Several factors contribute to the higher accident rates of private buses:
- Driver Behavior: Private bus drivers often engage in aggressive driving practices,
such as illegal overtaking and picking up passengers outside designated stops.
- Working Conditions: Studies indicate that poor working conditions, including long hours and low pay, are associated with higher crash rates among private bus drivers.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Private buses may not adhere to the same maintenance standards as public buses, leading to a higher likelihood of mechanical failures

Did YOU not research this topic enough, because you just want your BIAS confirmed?
Or did this article inform you incorrectly, because they want you to have that BIAS?

Another good example is your Air Traffic Controllers. The ones hired directly by the government are of the better or best quality. The ones that are outsourced through a private company are very much inferior. That's what has been causing the crashes, incidents and near incidents lately.
We discussed that topic not so long ago. I even shared this letter:

Government hires the less qualified because by law they have to buy the cheapest.
By Ananas2xLekker at 23,May,25 10:52 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
They indeed have to buy the cheapest, but the cheapest that FOLLOW
THE REGULATIONS. You as a voter have influence on those regulations.

What you are referring to, are laws under the capitalist system, where the government BUYS IN services from PRIVATE companies. That's not comparing public vs private services. That's a system for transferring public money (taxes) to private profits.

Public transportation means government owned busses, that are managed, repaired and driven by government employees. That means that any surplus money from that system is going back into the treasury, instead of into the pockets of owners and shareholders. That means there are also no owners and shareholders with a profit incentive to maximize the prize for the users and minimize expenses on safety and quality, reducing your safety and comfort. The only incentive that the government has
is to balance tax expenses vs price vs quality, on which you as voter have an influence.
By CAT52! at 23,May,25 12:31 other posts of CAT52!
Not necessarily. Government employment is traditionally poorer in wages. That attracts mediocre workers.
By Ananas2xLekker at 23,May,25 22:05 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
"As of May 2025, most U.S. federal government employees earn at least $15/hr.
This wage floor was established through a series of executive actions initiated by President Joe Biden."

Don't forget that you're talking to someone who lives in a country that had lots of public utilities, a few decades ago. I've seen almost all of them getting privatized,
and with no exception, the services became worse and/or much more expensive.

We had busses going to the smallest villages, for very cheap. They have now canceled many connections and the price has gone up much faster than inflation.

The trains still have the same frequency, and they have added some connections, but it's damn expensive. They also have lower punctuality and a higher cancellation rate.

We have one of the highest prices for natural gas and electricity in Europe, while we have the most free power market of Europe. Countries that have more publicly owned systems have much lower prices. very strange for a country that has the only natural gas field in Europe and which is mostly coastline, where the wind always blows, providing cheap wind energy. Also, the privatized power grid didn't invest enough, so now we cannot build new houses, because the power grid is totally overburdened.

I spoke often about our healthcare, which has gone up in price massively, since we got private health insurance. Only the US has a more expensive system. Dental care was immediately cut, when they privatized the system, and every year they cut some more things that the insurance used to pay for.

We had fantastic postal services, before they privatized it. Back then, working for the post office was a good job, with a good retirement. My grandfather worked for the postal services for most of his life. Now they have 'self employed' workers, who need to pay for their own van. They need to work like slaves, to make a little money.
That means that they deliver the packages in your paper recycling bin or just drop it on your porch and leave. They also speak less Dutch every year. I don't mind speaking English with immigrants, but they don't speak English either.

Privatization puts profits before public good
By Ananas2xLekker at 25,May,25 08:36 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Exactly!
So why would you privatize those things that are only intended as "public good"?
That just funnels tax-dollars away from "public good" to wealthy people.

I don't like privatization
By Ananas2xLekker at 25,May,25 19:27 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Then why did you say "Government employment is traditionally poorer in wages. That attracts mediocre workers"?
By CAT52! at 25,May,25 21:46 other posts of CAT52!
There's a difference between knowing how things are set up and how things work for me. Private companies worry about people only if it makes them more profit. Government just puts out a product and usually at a reduced cost or even free (not counting taxes). For me? I like free.
By Ananas2xLekker at 26,May,25 07:37 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
True, that's because they have different goals. The goal of a private business is to make money, the goal of government is to create added value for the country, state or area they serve.

That of course requires an actual democracy. If politicians are corrupt, they personally benefit from the choices they make, which takes away from their goal to create added value for the country, state or area they serve. However, they still need your votes to be allowed to make those choices, which requires well informed voters to vote out the corrupt ones, who prioritize personally benefiting, over creating added value for the country, state or area they serve.

The question is then; why do your elected officials need to take millions
in donations, for them to decide to cut expenses for citizens and cut taxes
for big corporations and the wealthy? If that was creating added value for
the country, state or area they serve, they wouldn't need bribes, to do that.

Our system is broken. The number one problem is the Electoral College. The other is that, in my opinion, voting for federal elections should be mandatory. They couch their arguments in “Constitutional freedoms”.
By Ananas2xLekker at 26,May,25 09:09 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
I think your #1 problem is money in politics. It corrupts everything.
I also don't think mandatory voting is a good idea.
There's now a huge number of people who think that both parties suck. Others they feel that they haven't informed themselves enough to make a choice. Do you really want those people to vote?

The winner takes all system keeps your politics limited to two parties.
That's a big problem, because both parties feel safe from competition.
In a parliamentary system, you could safely vote for the Green Party,
the Libertarian Party, the Constitution Party, or an independent, that one of the big parties could chose to work together with, without giving away votes to a big opposition party.
I'm not saying that is Kryptonite to corruption, but it helps.
You wouldn't be forced to vote for the "lesser evil" anymore.
And it vastly reduces the division and partiality.

In any case, your first priority is to prevent the complete destruction of your government by Trump. What's the use of voting, when the people you elect don't have any power left, over what's important for your life?
If everything is privatized, do your leaders even still control the military,
the secret services and the police? Or do the 'donors' control that too?
You cannot vote for the billionaires, who control everything.

"these cops didn't have a agenda I guess"
ONE 'protester' died, while a huge crazed mob violently attacked the capital police, injuring at least 174 law enforcement officers. If those cops had "an agenda" giving them a reason to kill those protesters, they could have killed a lot more of them, than ONE.

The fact that YOUR cops only shot ONE person that day, shows me that their "agenda" agreed with YOURS.

The fact that you even have to ask...
Trump has an impact on EVERYTHING. Ever heard of tariffs or Ukraine?

I told you that before: your country leads the way in the global economy. What you decide in your elections affects everyone else. When the US elects liberals who make the oligarchs pay the working class better, make the pharmaceutical companies lower their prices, invest in green energy to reduce climate change, make education more affordable, regulate big industry to pollute less and provide safe working environments, crack down on the finance industry to stop scamming customers, etc., that results in the EU doing similar things or better. When you pick Republicans, who only prop up billionaires and fuck over the working class, the EU follows that example more.

Your country is now turning full fascist. If you know any history, you would understand how that could turn out. In WWII those fuckers didn't have nukes.
You do!!

You claimed Trumpp was the anti-war candidate, but he is threatening Iran,
Mexico, Canada, Panama and Greenland and is actively involved in the genocide in Palestine and bombing Yemen for their reaction on that.
He's being directly aggressive to everyone except Russia.
Nothing but love for Putin, and thinking of quitting the aid to Ukraine.
That means that Europe needs to defend Ukraine by ourselves.
Why? Because we are next on Putin's to-do-list.

Why oh why would I be so interested in American politics??
Don't you think your question is a little bit silly???

At the time of this post, I cannot recall the exact cities that I fueled up in however I drove from Florida to Alabama then through Georgia, Tennessee, to Kentucky and from Kentucky to Ohio then into Michigan. I paid anywhere from $2.39(at the beginning of my trek), then there was $2.47, $2.75 and in Blufton, OH, I paid $3.08 at Circle K. This last tank of fuel took me home to Michigan where at “home” gas is $3.19!

Strange how you don't care about anything, as soon as your side wins.
That's clearly looking away from all the chaos and destruction they create.

There is NOTHING that I could say that make you think he's doing anything wrong.
But, at least I will try.

- Trump let Elon Musk rummage around in your government finances and everything the government knows about YOU, to cut and gut whatever a billionaire considers 'waste'. How about if Biden had let George Soros do that?

- Trump starting a trade war with every country on earth, even places where only penguins live, using a formula that was thought-up in 5 minutes, on a napkin. (figuratively, but it couldn't be worse if it was true) Do you think starting a trade war with your biggest trading partners isn't chaos? Of course not, you think that's smart negotiation when Trump does it. He came back on it though, showing him to be WEAK.

- Trump fired a four star general, because black people are by definition "DEI", and replace him with a completely unqualified white guy, with white nationalist tattoos and a history of violence and intoxication on the job. His first action is discussing war plans on Signal. He's the real "DEI candidate": lowering standards to meet his record incompetence level, because of his skin color.

- Trump acts completely on executive orders. He destroys whole government agencies, which were implemented by congress. He craps all over The Constitution and completely ignores judges and even the Supreme Court. Can we agree that Democrats can do that too from now?

- Every modern and free country hates the US now. They are all preparing to shift away from the US, not trusting the US anymore for any important service or product. How do you think that will affect your military industrial complex, your big media companies, your electronics industry. They will all go the direction of Tesla, as soon as they achieve more independence. To achieve that independence takes massive investments into technology and production capacity. Of course they won't invest with dollars, but with euros, because your financial systems cannot be trusted to be independent anymore either. Trump's actions are resulting in the exact opposite of his stated goals. How is that not chaos?

- Which countries still like Trump now? Israel? (Sure, but it's only costing you), Saudi Arabia? (9/11, supporters of al Qaeda), Russia? (only when it serves them), North Korea? (they are crazy and poor as dirt), Hungary? (poor as dirt and on the dole of Europe. If we kick them out of the EU, they collapse completely),
El Salvador? (only good for disappearing people, but poor as dirt).
Your 'friends' are a collection of dwarfs and trolls. They are mostly useless to you, because they are either weak or treacherous. The US became the wealthiest nation in the world, because of friendship with the rest of the modern world and selling stuff, even when others made that stuff. That won't continue. You cannot make anything yourself, because your people are dumb and you cannot live on internal consumption, because your people are poor.
By dgraff at 09,May,25 12:14 other posts of dgraff
You make me laugh because I keep picturing you as a blonde haired blue eyed boy wearing wooden shoes and red shorts with green suspenders a white button up shirt and a green and red hat with your finger stuck in the leak in the dam so the towns people don’t get flooded
That picture in my mind is so funny that I can’t concentrate on anything you post
By Ananas2xLekker at 09,May,25 13:11 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
The funny thing is that I didn't know the story about the boy who put his finger
in the dyke, until Americans told me.

Actually, I look very much like an American. I'm big, balding, overweight (normal for American standards), white guy with a goatee. I would fit in at any Trump rally, until I started to talk politics. I could probably wear a hat of my party too; it's red with a tomato logo. They would probably think the tomato is a good idea.

You think of the Dutch boy, because it's the ONLY Dutch thing you know.
When I imagine you, my image is probably dead accurate, because I have seen so many Americans on TV and in the media. (also, you just show photos)

Of course your country is much bigger and the center of the world in political issues, while my country is tiny and doesn't make the headlines as often.
Any person on the planet has a good idea about what the US is and does and what the average American looks like. But, it's also that Americans, in general, don't inform themselves about anything that happens in the world. That's because your media, which is owned by large corporations, purposely shuts out any information that could make you criticize the idea that America is the bestest country in the world. It's a very old strategy, that is mostly obsolete, because most Americans now know how fucked-up your country is, but they are used to selling you the fantasy that it isn't, and there is no money in breaking your fantasy.
Trump got elected by telling you how broken America is, but simultaneously you cannot admit to me that it is. You believe Trump AND you still believe the fantasy.

The best way to break that fantasy, is to look beyond your borders.
Instead, you crawled down more into your shell of denial.

That’s bullshit trump’s last term gas was 1.87 per gallon and the democrats screwed it all up
By Ananas2xLekker at 10,May,25 17:55 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Nope, Covid screwed it up. First demand completely collapsed, forcing oil companies to stop production and taking big losses. We had a negative oil price for a while. Then demand returned, and the oil companies kept the production low, to increase the oil prices and recover their losses. We are still in post-covid over-consumption of oil right now, but Trump's tariffs have slowed the economic growth and production, lowering the demand for oil. Many producers are waiting for Trump's next move. They fear more tariffs, so they are minimizing product stock. Less production, means less demand for oil, means lower prices.
You're just celebrating the beginning of an economic crisis.

It doesn't have to come though. If Trump promises to stop his tariff plans,
the economy will probably go up again.

Do you know how many HUNDREDS of billions in trade relations Trump has gambled, for this itty bitty deal with the UK? The whole world is rethinking being dependent on the US for anything critical, because they cannot trust you anymore. Maybe you don't know this, but I hear discussions regularly about the EU taking a distance from your intelligence agencies, not depending anymore on Google, Microsoft and other cloud services, your weapons manufacturers, the dollar, Wall Street, Boeing, LNG, the F-35 and your pharmaceutical industry. Do we still respect the sanctions that the US enforced on everyone else?
You might have a point that we didn't spend enough on our defense, but everything we did spend was ON YOUR WEAPONS. Now we are putting maximum effort and hundreds of billions of investments in making those weapons in Europe, because we cannot trust you to provide them anymore.
Selling some more produce to UK is peanuts compared to the damage that
Trump has done.

In his first term, Trump already showed the rest of the world, that the US cannot be trusted to keep an agreement, by pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement, the Iran Nuclear Deal, TPP, the INF Treaty, the UNHRC, UNESCO, the Global Compact for Migration, the Open Skies Treaty, the WHO, and he undermined the World Trade Organization.

He has squandered every last bit of trust that other countries had in the US.
No one has any reason to believe that the US will respect ANY deal, ever again, so why would the UK or Europe respect a deal with the US?
Remember that trade deal Trump made with China, during his first trade war? China promised to buy more soy products from the US. That never happened!
That 'historic trade deal with the UK' is as valuable as the paper it's printed on.

It's not just folks like me that hate Trump, it's everyone he ever did business with, it's almost everyone in his first administration, it's his former VP, most of his former lawyers who saw their careers tank, it's old people who donated to him once and found out the money keeps getting transferred periodically, it's everyone who once was loyal as a dog to him and he threw under the bus. Everyone who deals with him ends up regretting it, except you dumb-asses,
SO FAR!

Those government leaders that Trump thinks are groveling for him, are all much smarter than him. They stroke his ego, give him some peanuts, to keep the US on our side in the Ukraine/Russia conflict, for as long as we still need you to. But we are going all in to get our military production and capacity up. And when we don't need you for our protection anymore, we might not want to need you for ANYTHING anymore. America had it's best days as superpower and is flailing, we don't want China to be the new superpower, so the best solution is
to become one ourselves. Europe has 745 million people, much lower debt than the US, a highly educated workforce, innovation strength and has a good reputation with most countries in the world.

Cooperation isn't "helping". It's the idea that 1 + 1 = 3.
(It's not math, it's economics)

However, cooperation can only work, if both parties strive towards
similar goals. Otherwise it turns into -1 + 1 = 0.

He sounds like a woke liberal. You'll probably hate him soon enough.

No captain of industry is g@mbling hundreds of billions of dollars and an effort of many years, to bring back production to the US, where that production will be more expensive, on the fickle nature of Trump, who could die from his fat heart any day, and who can become a lame duck in the next election. Trump has already caved on his tariffs, and he calls it a negotiation tactic regularly. It's putting the economy on a ledge, so they are all JUST WAITING to see what he's going to do. It's NOT working!

I'm not saying that is CANNOT work, I'm just saying that Trump is to dumb
and unreliable to make it work.

There are 15 democracies with kings.
There are 8 dictatorships with kings.

There are 120 democracies with presidents.
There are 60 dictatorships with presidents.

That's about the same ratio of democracies vs dictatorships.

By 2020 numbers, the top 5 most democratic countries were:
#1 Denmark: king
#2 Norway: king
#3 Finland: president
#4 Sweden: king
#5 Germany: president
Those kings serve a ceremonial role with limited or no political power.

The UK ranked as #17 most democratic country (Working Democracy)
The US ranked as #36 most democratic country (Deficient Democracy)

If you give the Russians all the land that they stole so far,
what will stop them continuing the war in a few years from now?

Putin should not be able to sell this as a win to the Russians.
Russians should be thinking: "Did he fucking send us to die for THAT?!?".

You keep thinking this is only important for Ukraine.
It's not, it's to prevent even more war in the future.
Be happy this hasn't turned into WWIII. The next one might.
And it's the Ukrainians who are fighting like lions to prevent that.

"but ukraine just wants more weapons to keep killing and continue the killing of it's people."
So you just want them to surrender? Any idea what happens to the people then?
Ukrainians have been living under Russian rule before. They were eating their dead,
to not starve too, while the Russians were working them to death.

but with your thinking, the fighting will continue and people will die.

putin won't last forever,

there is no positive outcome.
if putin picked up his ball and went home today, what is stopping him from retooling and coming back 5 years from now? so just ending the war and giving back the land is a temporary fix as well.

as the polish president said a year or more ago, the drowning man will take you down with him if you allow him to.
By Ananas2xLekker at 02,May,25 19:01 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
I just told you that surrendering would mean lots of them dying too.
Putin wants Ukraine for Russia, without Ukrainians on that land.
For all we know, he would transport them all to extermination camps.

Putin indeed won't last forever, but this ideology is bigger than him. If you turn him
into a hero, that ideology will last many of his successors. If you turn him into a loser, that ideology might very well die with him. Trump is making him a winner.

What do think would have happened, if the world had surrendered to Hitler?
He would have mass murdered every last Jew and then everyone else he considered sub-human. Giving up the fight against monsters like that, doesn't lower the body count, it only increases it. Maybe not in the short-term, but most definitely long-term. When you allow their power to grow, it will only cost more lives to eventually beat them.

It's exactly like beating cancer. Allow it to grow and you die. Fight it with everything
you have, and you have a chance to conquer it.

Putin still has the support, even though passively, of the Russian people. If he doesn't succeed in what he promised them, they will not support him in the next war.

A drowning man with support of lots of people can take more people down with him than a drowning man that his people will want to see drown.
By phart at 02,May,25 20:40 other posts of phart
there is no ideal end to this war.
someone will be unhappy.
and if it is putin, he will be back,
or his followers will.

if both parties are not willing to sit down and talk peace, then peace can't happen. and so far all zelenski has done is ask for more weapons. so how can you interpret that as wanting peace?

it all depends on who you ask.
if you ask a group of tree hugging, liberal hippies, of course you will get a low reading.
if you ask a group of rino's, you will get a low rating.

if you ask me personally, i approve for the most part of what he is doing because i take the time to try to understand the why behind it.

where i disagree is tarrifs on stuff we do not make here in the Us , cars-yes, tv's-no.
we make cars here, but there are no tv's made here and etc.

but the idea ultimately may not work because the minimum wage is to high in the US to make things less exspensive. not to mention all the crazy regulations that drove the jobs away in the first place.

Let me reply as if I were phart:

Do you expect the economy to become better immediately? Impossible. The reason is because he inherited a bad economy from the extreme left of Biden. In fact, it turns out that the Democrats were hiding everything. The economy is much worse than appeared to be. In these circumstances, trump will do his best. He will fix the economy, but that will take time. Biden is to blame. If necessary, trump still stay in power for 8 years in order to make the economy great again. He will sacrifice his time, his personal life, everything, in order to achieve all that. There's never been a better president than trump. You're just being impatient and always want to blame the Republicans for the failures of the the left.

Right now unemployment is going up and the economy is tanking IN THE UNITED STATES. Using your argument then the country is under a Republican administration and with the Clown as it's head.

It's no maintenance or trimming bushes. The island is poor and can't revamp their electric grid. It's like plugging every appliance you own into one bedroom outlet. The fuse blows. In their case it's the old equipment.

it clearly says bushes could have caused it,and the outdated equipment.
why don't they fix it>?
move some manufacturing jobs there so they can earn money and use it to reinvest in their island.

Manufacturing jobs on a small island can only exist with very low wages, because the costs of transportation are so high. They would all be working, making other people wealthy, but not themselves.
Private investments will just make the private investors rich, not the people. They need public investments increasing their economy, so they can invest in themselves.
By phart at 18,Apr,25 12:22 other posts of phart
what would we get for those public investments?
at least if they had jobs there would be useful products or services for the betterment of society .they would also learn about self responsibility instead of bumming off the US

TAXES!
Poor people are a burden to an economy, middle class people pay LOTS OF TAXES.
Middle class people also SPEND a lot, which is very important for your economy, since the reciprocal tariffs to Trump's tariffs are destroying your export.

Why are you only for investments when rich selfish assholes do it, to benefit themselves? What's sooooooo bad about public investments, to benefit ALL?

several of my neighbors have done mission work with church groups, going to far away places like porter rico and building a new school or something, only to go back later and the school be gone and a bunch of huts built out of the materials, they tear down the school where their kids can learn things to better themselves and their kids are still uneducated.

"because they are always wasted on those that won't do for themselves."

No, it's wasted on those that ONLY do for themselves!
Why give money to the wealthy, when they don't need it
and only use that money for more wealth for THEMSELVES?
That's exactly what caused the sesspool you are already in.
The US has the highest GDP of the modern world, with poverty
and misery that is comparable with piss poor countries.

You keep thinking that I support a welfare state. I AM NOT!!
I don't want to pay people to sit on their ass, I want to pay for education,
healthcare, infrastructure, public investments in strengthening the economy
and then putting the profits of that back into the system to improve it more
and benefit the people. Not just for short term profit for the few, but long term improvement of civilization. And of course to stop the imminent destruction
of that civilization, or (worst case scenario) humanity completely.

I support equal opportunities, by helping people maximize their potential.
What you are doing is the opposite. But that is a recent development.
When America was at its prime, it did help people maximize their potential.
Then you switched to helping the winners win more and you punished who couldn't.
Now you voted for a guy who says America is broken and who says M.A.G.A..
That's confirming my point. America was great when a mechanic could buy a house and send his kids to university. The policies that you support are making that increasingly impossible. YOU are doing the opposite of MAGA.

"how much money does the netherlands send to the US as foreign aid?"

Does the US need foreign aid?
Your GDP/capita is higher than ours. Why do your people need our help?

Generally speaking, Dutch organizations rarely focus directly on helping people in the United States, because the U.S. is considered a wealthy, developed country.
However, there is definitely some of our taxes going to help Americans, through the global Red Cross network, Mйdecins Sans Frontiиres (Known for work in war zones and developing countries, they made an exception in 2020 by providing medical aid to underserved populations in the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic). Then there are some donations from Dutch people supporting American Nonprofit Organizations, which are helping uninsured or impoverished Americans, like Remote Area Medical (RAM), The Health Wagon, National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) and Partners in Health.

The US is a very wealthy country, but it treats its people like shit.
That's a political choice. You still have some form of democracy left, providing Americans a choice in how they are treated by their elected government.
Dutch people prefer helping people who don't get your opportunities.
However, when the Trump/Musk regime takes away all your opportunities to make a good life for yourself, we might change our policies on that. We are however a much smaller country, so our aid to Americans could never be effective.
However, if the US turns into the Axis of Evil, joining Russia, Saudi Arabia,
Iran and North Korea, then we cannot help you, because that would be helping the demise of humanity.

do your charities get tax dollars?
By Ananas2xLekker at 26,Apr,25 16:20 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Yes, Dutch tax money does go to charities, but in a few specific ways:

1. Government Support for (International) Charitable Organizations

The Dutch government funds various organizations that are considered charitable through subsidies and grants. Some examples include:

Development Aid: The Netherlands spends billions of euros annually on international aid. This includes funding for NGOs like the Red Cross, Oxfam Novib, and UN organizations such as UNICEF or the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). This is similar to how the U.S. government funds USAID or gives money to the United Nations.

Environmental and Nature Organizations: The government supports organizations that protect nature and the environment. For instance, Natuurmonumenten (a Dutch nature conservation group) and Staatsbosbeheer (a government agency managing forests and nature reserves) receive public funding. These could be compared to organizations like the National Park Service or The Nature Conservancy in the U.S.

Culture and Heritage: Museums, art institutions, and cultural foundations also receive public funding. These are sometimes considered charities, depending on their structure. This is somewhat like how the U.S. National Endowment for the Arts or Smithsonian Institution is publicly funded.

2. Tax Benefits for Donations to Charities

In the Netherlands, individuals can deduct charitable donations from their taxes if the charity has what's called ANBI status (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling), which means it serves the public good. This is similar to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in the U.S. So in this sense, the government indirectly supports charities by reducing taxes on people who donate to them.

They are breaking every law in the books.

Most Americans will not accept this anymore. This will turn into a massive loss in your next election and a huge reckoning with everyone who collaborated with this criminal regime, or civil war. Before that happens, you will be reduced to a very small minority.
Trump is bleeding support like crazy. Your Republicans cannot hold a Town Hall anymore, without it turning into a massive protest towards ANY Republican.

just because it might have been hyperbolic for some president, doesn't make it hyperbolic for this president.

You didn't go into arguments explaining why some characteristics of fascism,
as recognized by historians, political scientists, and philosophers, don't match
the ideology and actions of Trump.

It's up to the Federal Reserve to balance interest rates,
between increasing investments and decreasing inflation.

You yourself argued that nothing is more important than low inflation.
That was under Biden, who lowered inflation to 2.4%. Since Trump voters argued
that this was still too high, you shouldn't want the Fed to lower the interest rate yet, because inflation is still at 2.4%.

Biden prioritized recovering the economy, by increasing investments, over low inflation. You argued against that, but now you agree with Biden.

By the way, small investors cannot lend money at national interest rates, they have to lend money at the rated that the banks demand from them. Trump could demand from the banks that they make less profits over the backs of small investors. However, he wants to take a shortcut and meddle with the Fed's business, because he's completely inept at doing anything positive for the economy himself.
