With all due respect, JohnS, if you are not admin or affiliated with admin, how can you say that NWC closed his profile by choice? Did NWC personally contact you OR did admin confirm that for you?
We ( NWC and I ) were not joined at the hip, however in our most recent conversation, NWC said that he had hoped to visit the States within the next two years, he was still sad, but hopeful, that his beloved, Deedee, would find her way home AND how much he enjoyed, admired and would like to meet alexblue.
I "suspect" that NWC closed his profile by choice. I say SUSPECT because it was not his nature to cause tension where admin might have deleted his profile. It's all about wording, just saying......
