Wearing diapers is convenient.

I wear them traveling, going to concerts, airshows anyplace you have to go and hunt down a restroom.

Normal is defined by that which is customary behavior for the majority of the population in a given area. This is not to say that behavior outside of that "norm" is wrong, just that it is not something that most people practice. There is no judgement inherent in classifying a thing/behavior as normal/abnormal...just acknowledgement that it isn't common.
Also, if I was really hungry, I could devour a Guinea pig without batting an eye.
