but toay I see this picture /yxgc32rwurnppic.html it only had 470 views and only 1 comment but yet it is at the top of the main page...
how is this possible? usually I need over or near a thousand views and 20 or more comments to just be in the middle of the main page... I AM NOT saying this for attention, just curious how this works

Exactly. It's not the views or the comments that determine the photos on the Most Popular page (I presume that's what you meant by "main page"), but rather the number of votes.
