I can't say I regularly go out of my way to hit on chicks here, whether it's a woman or a guy if I like their photos and want to initiate contact a simple comment on the page side bar or a "hey there, nice pics " and leave it at that. Because they've been watching hardcore porn since they were 10 & all of their ideas in relation to how they interact with women in a sexual manner evolved from the humiliating and disrespectful things that they saw in the porn that they've been downloading to their PCs over the years. From what you say you seem to be looking for, this is hardly the place to be. Join some real dating sites, develop relationships, see where they go. Some will work out, others won't--welcome to life.
