In reality what is happening here is that certain users are creating fakes then buying them as their subs and if other members get in first they delete them and use the fake pics to create another fake that they then buy. Are these people so stupid that they think other members don't realise what's happening? And what does Admin do about this, absolutely fuck all. IMO these people need to be kicked off this site for good, they abuse the site for some reason which to put it mildly is pathetic. |

Perhaps I am mistaken, however I understood the member to say that they had multiple when they indicated they blacklisted their account and saying it is possible to make up a name ( profile? ).

So, sadly, and because I'm naive, I must have spent a lot of time conversing with "women". It's ridiculous that people get a kick by pretending to be what they are not. I don't get it. To maintain privacy, sure, but to pretend to be Sasha Grey when one is a sad fellow with no social skills and no friends other than his cock, I just don't get it.
You're not in a "club" by yourself, there are many more horny romeos that want to believe they are exchanging spicy conversations and sexy pictures with that special girl. What was it that tipped you off? What happened that caused you to open your eyes, wide?
Less understandable is that there are plenty of guys who comment and in other ways admire obviously fake accounts. So fake that you have to be dumb as a tree to do not see it. And if you ask them, half of them believe those are not fakes but another half surprisingly know those are fake and still engage because they want to live in a fantasy for several moments.
Those people are pretending to believe the fake, they know for sure is a fake, is not a fake. And from my point of view it's much more weird than people pretending to be someone they are not. I mean, lying to other people can be rewarding, but lying to oneself seems to be too unproductive.
On a similar note, would it make any sense to have some kind of indication of the degree of belief on how fake a member is? We could somehow put pressure to people to verify themselves. ... Does this make sense?
Of course, given what you say, that people knowingly fool themselves by convincing themselves that fake members are real, it may be undesirable for many members to do what I suggest above. If they are willing to play games like fooling themselves and others etc, then it's none of my business to police them. Of course, I fully agree with you that the whole thing is moronic.
What I meant - some fake accounts I deleted contained internet photos back from 1998 that have been all over the net numerous times, it's nearly impossible to do not notice it, unless you did not ever use internet until yesterday. And yet when I deleted those accounts I sometimes got bombarded by messages "why you deleted her, she was so cool".
I was fighting those accounts best I could, but eventually I got tired of it, considering that many people were fighting with me in private after such deletions. So I put a warning on registration page:

But real people, especially women, are not that enthusiastic about revealing themselves on a site like this.
So any real verification would spook much more real members than weed out fakes.
I made a possibility for members to verify one another but I was sure experienced fakers would pass it anyway. I made it more for members to have fun, than expecting it to really work.
Regarding real women, there are several on this site. And some are very nice. I've spoken to them (or Skyped with some) and know they're real.
