Traditional Filipino circumcision is done for boys just before puberty. The traditional circumcision style is to remove the top half of the foreskin and leave the underside of the foreskin. This type of circumcision is referred to as "The beautiful flower "
Also many of the circumcisions are performed at mass circumcision events where many of the medical staff performing the circumcision inexperienced female student nurses. Although personally I find this highly erotic and the end resulting circumcision is different and interesting I think it is unsightly. Today more Filipinos are opting for modern circumcision techniques and having their sons circumcised at birth in the western traditional. This is why many Filipinos now have more neat even tighter circumcisions due to the modern circumcision clamps used for newborn circumcisions

It's a dorsal slit circumcision. A think piece of bamboo is placed between the foreskin and the glans, then a knife is positioned on the topside of the glans along the center line. The knife is hit with a hammer, which cuts the foreskin. The two ends of the cut at the tip are pulled apart horizontally to create what will be a scar that parallels the corona. I don't know how they keep it that way or if they try to. The end result looks like a normal circumcision from the top, but has the whole foreskin hanging from the underside. I'm sure there are some who would be grossed out by this, and some who would bust a nut.

Okay so that dorsal slit circumcision sounded different, so I went looking for an example of what had been described here, needless to say, after viewing every male (76) posted on the Phillipean page, I saw one guy with a small patch of loose skin beneath the glans. Nothing like what was described as a different type of circumcision, if someone has an image they can direct me to, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
