you would think.. if Elon was looking for financial wrong doings he'd hire accountants, not programmers

I like to think I'm well endowed

By quint at 25,Jan,25 11:34
well I guess you have to do whatever's easiest for your capacity, and "you're either with me or you're against me" is about as simple as it gets.

By quint at 24,Jan,25 20:05
the emphasis was more on your reactionary need to go defensive on everything.. but anyway.. the world was watching and knew what it meant. I personally would be appalled if Biden did it too, but then I'm not one of "you folks" either.. it's funny how you lump anyone who disagrees with you into the same barrel.

By quint at 24,Jan,25 18:58
I find it odd that you even feel that you need to defend this man.. despite what he's doing with his arm.. just look at the expression on his face. It has Hitler written all over it!
That's exactly what it was.

well I could read some empathy in Pitbull's post. and frustration too ..that California is getting more support from outside Countries than from the incoming Prez.. you know.. the one that wants to invade the countries that are at this moment helping California put out the fires.

By quint at 15,Jan,25 01:30
well that fact that you have to justify it by making it about yourself.. says a lot!

no hug needed.. just a simple.. Damn.. I feel bad for the people of California my fellow country men ..instead of all the finger pointing and political blame game.. it's the people in trouble that matter.

By quint at 15,Jan,25 00:43
you missed it again.. I wasn't asking how to fix it.. or who's the problem .. just a little empathy for your fellow Americans going through tough times..

By quint at 15,Jan,25 00:36
you couldn't even be empathetic for the sake of empathy.. without bringing politics into it. sad

By quint at 15,Jan,25 00:22
politics aside.. the lack of empathy for your fellow American citizens fighting for their lives is staggering

By quint at 11,Jan,25 01:08
well you might have to.. maybe sooner than you think. There's a lot talk now up here of building our own refining plants instead of exporting our raw crude to USA. It would cut down on a lot of pipeline

By quint at 11,Jan,25 00:34
"in other words, fix a few issues and there won't be any tariffs." You make it sound like you have some kind of upper hand, I think you underestimate Canada.. a little bit of info copied and pasted for you

Did you know that Canada is the largest supplier of energy to the U.S.? In 2021, Canada supplied the U.S. with 61% of its crude oil imports. And in 2020, Canada supplied the U.S. with 98% of its natural gas imports, 93% of its electricity imports, and 28% of its uranium purchases, helping power millions of homes, businesses and cities from coast to coast.

That's a lot of energy.. tariff or no tariff.. you'll still be buying it.. just might cost you 25% more ..Trump knows that.

By quint at 10,Jan,25 21:56
I've actually heard talk of Washington and Oregon, possibly even California and also Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire in the north east.. it would solve Maga's Dem problem

By quint at 10,Jan,25 21:52
it just wouldn't be worth it.. you wouldn't understand

By quint at 10,Jan,25 21:50
..it looks that way to you because that's how you want to spin it. He was on his way out long before the trip to Florida. He went to Florida to educate Trump on what a tariff is.. and you still can't figure it out that it's you who pays it.. not Canada.
One good thing Trump has done is unite Canada though.. it's in the air up here.. people are putting their political differences aside to put Canada first against a new enemy.. Trump
..and most southern Americans don't much outside of Southern America

By quint at 10,Jan,25 19:50
Phart.. the fact that you think Trudeau resigned because of Trump shows how little you know about Canadian politics and how easily you will BS to suit your agenda and try to make your lord and savior look competent.

By quint at 10,Jan,25 12:26

I do

By quint at 09,Jan,25 20:04
Actually the new leader coming in considers the illegal fire-arms coming North from the US just as a big problem as immigrants going South. So there’s work to be done on your side as well.
If you believe these tariffs are really about the minimal immigrants and drugs from Canada, that is your choice.. I believe it’s just a distraction, like the invasions.. He’s not going to be able to keep any of his campaign promises, but he’s in now.. he doesn’t have to. There won’t be lower prices on food, gas, and housing.. they’re all going to go up.. substantially too.. Tariffs do that.
These tariffs are definitely going to hurt Canada, no doubt, but we survived it last time.. Trump is not only talking of imposing tariffs on Canada and Mexico, but China and Europe as well. That is going to hurt the US economy. I think you’re in for an eye opener. The rest of the world is already exploring new market alternatives. I read yesterday that China is in the process of a billion dollar wheat/soy deal with Argentina, instead of US wheat because they consider Trump too unstable economically to get a deal done.

By quint at 09,Jan,25 16:31
yes it's good for Canada.. let's get some oil moving. We have lots of natural gas as well.. you just need to convince your new president that 25% tariffs aren't really a good thing for you as a consumer. It certainly won't bring gas prices down as promised.

By quint at 07,Jan,25 22:05
well we all know Trump likes to talk like that.. same as the trade deficit/subsidy thing.. you have to watch what he says.. he likes to spin. I think he means being a part of NATO. Also he forgets that Canada is a member of the British Commonwealth of Nations which has 56 countries in it. The USA is not part of it.

By quint at 07,Jan,25 19:18
let me be very clear.. it will never ever happen.. no offence but most Canadians would consider that a step back.. besides we have a new government coming in that has made that very clear
..but I've heard talk of some blue states up in the north that would consider becoming a province

By quint at 07,Jan,25 17:08
it is good news, but he's shut Parliament down until March, and staying on as interim PM.. probably unfinished business of ripping us off.. numerous investigations against him.
As for leaving? ..after 9 years of downward spiral, everybody has had enough, including his own party. He was forced into stepping down as his party leader. He does not want it ..but has no choice.

By quint at 07,Jan,25 17:00
a happy Canadian here.. looking forward to a Federal election!

NO MILITARY EXPERIANCE! ..in caps no less. You should be ashamed of yourself. Give credit where credit is due. You are either straight up lying or just that ignorant to her career. which is it?

By quint at 04,Jan,25 00:01
well I guess.. as long as you're ok with him running the country too

By quint at 03,Jan,25 19:20
I’m not sure I understand your logic. I understand the best bang for your buck part.. but it’s not worth robbing your own future.
You have a foreign born billionaire stealing jobs from Americans and giving them to hired foreign workers.. and insulting your intelligence while he’s doing it. I thought part of Make America Great Again was about jobs for Americans. I don’t believe there isn’t enough Americans educated enough to do these jobs.. if there isn’t .. You would think, they would bring a few over to educate and train some.
I read that the visa’s include a clause that if they get fired, they are deported back home.. great way to control your employees.

During his tenure as CEO, Brian Thompson received a 10.2 million dollar bonus for making the company an extra 4 billion in profits. He did this by raising the denial rate of claims to 32% .. the highest of any insurers in the USA. It wasn't about a number of people looking over cases, it was a put in place policy. He was CEO.. it was his plan.. so yeah he deserves the blame
