Here is a clear explanation on how Republicans are distorting the facts about Hunter Biden's alleged corruption and payments to his father. All their claims are repudiated
by bank records, released emails and records from Hunter's laptop.

Who the fuck cares. The big guy is the most guilty here and we have to go through moron hunter to prove that. However, there is more than enough proof. What the hell do you want, gift wrapping the old fart?
By WOODY58 at 09,Dec,23 00:11 other posts of WOODY58
You are just repeating Republican dogma. If there was more than enough proof, he, Biden, not only would be impeached but CONVICTED by the Senate. Hunter is a possible crook and he’s a huge embarrassment to Daddy, but you don’t convict a family member for the crimes of another. Trump has over 90 indictments against him and the Republicans are sweating bullets and making deals with the Devil just to get ANYTHING on Old Joe. It’s laughable if it wasn’t so wrong.
By tecsan at 09,Dec,23 03:42 other posts of tecsan
We will see who laughs last. Little hunter would not ever come by all his millions without decrepit old daddy. Bet the house impeaches him, the senate (well the libtards will have to decide if their woke BS is worth upholding).

So Hunter is rich because of Daddy, so what? I know of ANOTHER one that is rich because of his daddy. That one is just a few missteps away from losing it all.
It’s not WOKE BS, it’s what the majority of the people in this country believe in and want.
Let me give you a lesson on WOKE:
Woke is defined as “aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice),” and identified as U.S. slang.”

We, on the LEFT, care about important facts and issues. We care about social injustices. We care about racial injustices. What does the RIGHT care about? Hunter Biden’s laptop. Give it up, Junior, the RIGHT is the new ME Generation.
By curvy8 at 10,Dec,23 09:56 other posts of curvy8
Indeed - I could care less of what his grown man son does. If he was running for office, that would be another thing.
By tecsan at 10,Dec,23 10:43 other posts of tecsan
Agree. Refer to my above comment.

By phart at 10,Dec,23 13:52 other posts of phart
the social injustice right now is the left trying to prevent Americans from being able to vote Trump back into office in 2024. it's our country to,and we don't trust biden or his cronies to run it anymore,he and his ilk are running this country into the ground

By tecsan at 09,Dec,23 08:09 other posts of tecsan
Old uncle joe is really trying to make a good run of it. He will probably get Trump convicted here and there. But, does not matter to me and some I know, our vote will still go for him. Better him than uncle joe the Country wrecker.

By tecsan at 05,Dec,23 05:46 other posts of tecsan
I believe that is because they can go into more depth. Have someone take notes, doubt there would be a problem with that. Also they have said that they would do it publicly after that. What the hell is he afraid of IF he is innocent?
By Ananas2xLekker at 05,Dec,23 11:07 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Sure you believe that, because that's the shit they are telling you now. You eat it all.

When they wanted to question witnesses, then they demanded to do it publicly,
because they wanted everyone to see the dirt. It didn't work out that way,
because all the witnesses crushed their nonsense. When they try to spin that,
it is clear for everyone that they are lying. So now, they don't want people to be able
to see that they are lying. That doesn't matter for you, because you'll believe them without ever fact checking anything, but people who have some intellectual honesty could easily see their blatend lying.

He's not afraid, he's just not giving them the opportunity to lie even more.
What are Republicans afraid of, for not wanting to do this publicly?

By the way, Hunter Biden is a citizen and he has no obligation to answer any questions from House Republicans. He could easily sue several of them for defamation and win.

The wet dream of the billionaires;
the same crushing of the working class and presents for the rich,
without the stupid antics.

Live with it, you also take advantage of it.
By Ananas2xLekker at 16,Nov,23 10:08 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
So you agree that right-wingers are crushing the working class
and are giving presents to the rich?

And you think that benefits anyone, but the rich?

That requires some denial of reality. I agree, it's not as clearly visible in your country
as it has been in mine, the past decades, but it's still very clear. Even in your country, in the 60s any guy with a basic job could buy a house. Are you asking yourself why it takes a couple with good jobs to buy a house, while still requiring a huge mortgage they probably can never pay? That's because the right-wingers have been crushing the working class and have been giving presents to the rich, for decades.

Why do you think the term MAGA cought on?
You know you are getting screwed, but you just don't understand why.

It's either MAGA, or 'Live with it', make a choice!
By tecsan at 17,Nov,23 03:53 other posts of tecsan
Just remember as stated above you participate in capitalism.

Maga CAUGHT on because it is the truth and you damn well know it. Compare it to what we have now, hell there is no choice there hands down MAGA.
By Ananas2xLekker at 23,Nov,23 10:57 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
You can keep repeating the same nonsense, but it will not turn into truth.

Both the US and all the Scandinavian countries have capitalist systems.
All of those Scandinavian countries participate in capitalism,
but I'm sure you understand that there are big differences.
The working class gets exploited in the US much more than in those Scandinavian countries. Those countries are doing great and the people living within those countries have a much higher standard of living than Americans.
Then why do you keep thinking that your system is necessary?

If you want to MAGA, use the Scandinavian system. That's the truth.
Because, compared to what you have now, that's better in every way.
By tecsan at 24,Nov,23 06:41 other posts of tecsan
You are right, it will not turn into the truth because it already is the truth.

Open your eyes...Which economy was better Trump's or biden's???Hell, most Americans know the answer to that one. Most all know joey is one of the worst presidents. Just take a look at the polls or would you like me to find them for you, I honestly think you can do it though.
By Ananas2xLekker at 25,Nov,23 15:24 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Did Biden have a huge financial crash, the highest unemployment in years and did he add 8 trillion of debt? You are not an unbiased observer, you are living in a fantasy.

Open your eyes, Americans are working their asses off for starvation wages, without any paid vacation, sick-days, maternity leave or overpay. Many people cannot afford healthcare or retirement. That's not Biden's fault, that is Republican policy screwing the people. What is good about that economy?

Every modern economy provides a better living standard for its people than the US. Your idea of capitalism only works for the wealthy and sucks for everyone else. You rank 33th in child mortality behind Slovakia and you just beat Chile. You rank 47th in life expectancy, behind the Czech Republic.
OPEN YOUR EYES, AMERICA SUCKS!!! AND IT'S YOUR FAULT!!!

In my country we have a right to 4 weeks paid vacation.
Employers have to pay 2 year of sick leave, for at least 70%.
Leave for organ donation, pregnancy and maternity is 100%.
Fathers get 5 days at 100%, but can get up to 5 weeks at 70%.

If I hated America, I would like how you are getting screwed.
If you loved America, you would want something better for Americans.

Biden's economy is better. Just what the defecit is doing to the country is enough to know The Clown was a failure. The polls are showing what the people THINK. It's not necessarily the truth. And what was so wrong with this country that a failed embezzler was needed to bring his Hitlerism to our land? You, Tecsan, are an adult with enough years under your belt. cat, your economy may not be in the tank but alot of peoples is.
Things are really slowing down ,houses are not selling, cars aren't selling, grading company's are laying people off.
By CAT at 27,Nov,23 22:01 other posts of CAT
Phart, if houses don’t sell it’s because of two things, either the prices are too high (speculators) or buyers don’t have the down payment. Either way, the status quo stays the same. The seller has a home and so does the buyer. BTW, look up new home construction in South and Central Florida and you’ll see house sales are going through the roof. If cars aren’t selling, same as houses. Price/ money available is the same. And if the grading company is laying people off, they can go to work at any of those places you’ve been complaining about not being able to get workers. The unemployment rate is below 4%. Gas in my area is at a 5yr low. The only things that are affecting everyone is food prices and medical costs including insurance.
Food is controlled by private industry and the same with medical costs. What do you propose? Have the Feds subsidize both of those? That would be “welfare” and you know how the Repucker Congress thinks about that.

Funny, how Laura Ingraham was mocking Biden for calling the Hubble telescope,
the 'web telescope'.

No, you moron, he was talking about the James Webb telescope.
You even talked about it and showed the 'space pictures' on your own show.
Then she got word from her producer, and she had to correct her mistake.

You are wrong on that. MSNBC is number 2 behind your precious Fox News, but, that’s according to Nielsen polling. It doesn’t address several issues like Trump, Trump, Trump, Conservative Religious Subjects, Trump, and, yes, Trump. Laura is a news reporter that figured out how to climb the ladder using Trump and right wing ideology. She knows nothing about other subjects and comes across as one more loudmouth shouting MAGA crap.
“MSNBC is the second-most-watched basic cable network in primetime for February 2023. According to Nielsen live-plus-same-day data, the network averaged 1.165 million total viewers in the daypart, only fewer than Fox News. MSNBC also averaged 711,000 total day viewers in February, No. 2 on basic cable in total day again only behind Fox News.”

By WOODY58 at 07,Nov,23 14:56 other posts of WOODY58
Are you listening to yourself? the only way to prove that there was no election fraud is to PROVE THERE WAS ELECTION FRAUD. The standard is "election fraud is non-existent or minute". That is what all other possibilities has to be measured against. So far, not one instance of fraud, in large scale, has come up. There is NO preponderance of election fraud. The only thing that is true is the wishful thinking of the MAGA right not willing to admit that Donny Boy just didn't have it. He lost. He lost. He lost.
By Ananas2xLekker at 14,Nov,23 12:29 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
It's very simple; Democrats can now just do the same.
If Biden looses, he can just claim that Republicans stole the election.
And there will be lots of shady stuff going on, to make a good case.
Republicans do gerrymandering and purging of voter rolls all the time.
There is always some Republican doing shit with the ballots.
It would be easy to never let Republicans win any election again.
Democrats can actually win court cases, because the facts are in their favor.

The fact that Fox'News' has an audience is shameful.
Americans love to be lied to, that's my conclusion.
By phart at 07,Nov,23 11:27 other posts of phart
My gripe with fox news is when they get someone on there that knows something, every talking head in the building starts talking and my radio sounds like zambia on drugs.
let each person speak in order,
By Ananas2xLekker at 15,Nov,23 15:44 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
It's rare that Fox'News' has someone on there that knows something.
What they have is PHD in medical science talk about health insurance or some doctor in philosophy talk about climate chance or some professor in archeology talk about poverty or a leading economist talk about big bang theory or a psychiatrist talk about history. They have someone with a big titel, talk about things they don't have that titel in, providing credibility to the absolute nonsense they are spouting.

The exception is economists; most of the time, they do have economists on to talk about economy. It's always an economist believing in trickle down theory though, never someone who's basing their economic ideas in reality.

MSNBC and CNN are different; they have specialists on, to talk about the things they DO know something about. They have a climate scientists to talk about climate change or professor in archeology talk about fossil layers as evidence of evolution or a theoretical physicist to talk about big bang theory, etc.

Fox'News' NEVER have some specialist talking about the topic they are specialized in, unless they have one or more complete idiots destroying the informed words of the specialist. Or, once in a blue moon, they actually have someone on with a title on the topic they are discussing, but then the person is an absolute outlier in the community of scientists, being made fun of for their contrarian ideas. That would not always be a problem, because sometimes people like that chance the direction of science, but that's not the people on Fox'News', those are the people that keep pushing and already 10x debunked idea.

It's the trick they always fall back on. Start looking for it. Ask yourself what titel the person has and what topic they are there to discuss. You will notice that I'm right.
By phart at 16,Nov,23 02:31 other posts of phart
Just because i have a degree related to electronics doesn't mean I can't lay brick or rebuild a engine.
A person with a PHD in medical science understands how insurance dictates what treatments a person gets. The scientist had to come up with cheaper treatments for insurance and the dr's to choose from.
By Ananas2xLekker at 16,Nov,23 10:53 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Exactly, if I want to know anything about laying bricks or rebuilding an engine,
I ask a brick-layer or a car mechanic, not someone with a degree related to electronics, even if the person has a doctorate in electronics and is the head engineer of Intel.

That PHD in medical science doesn't guarantee any insight into how insurance dictates what treatments a person gets, that's their experience of being a doctor. That person can also be head strategist for slapping on new licenses on old pharma products, at Eli Lilly, who loves how insurance dictates what treatments a person gets.

It's very strange, but I value higher education more than you, but I simultaneously cannot give less of a crap about the credibility of a prestigious title. Meanwhile, Fox'News' uses the credibility of a prestigious title to legitimize their talking points, which means their viewers care about prestigious titles.

I know you understand my point, but you just looked for something you could unravel it with. It's easy enough to unravel my point for yourself, just keep an eye on your media and ask yourself if the prestigious title of the person talking actually provide them credibility on the topic. If they never do what I am telling you, then I stand corrected.

By tecsan at 08,Nov,23 06:37 other posts of tecsan
The fact that msndnc has an audience is also shameful. Oh, wait their audience is one, YOU.
By Ananas2xLekker at 14,Nov,23 12:39 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
I can watch 5 minutes on Fox'News' and point out several lies.
That's much more difficult on MSNBC and CNN.
By tecsan at 16,Nov,23 04:35 other posts of tecsan
I highly doubt that. Anyway keep fooling yourself.
By Ananas2xLekker at 16,Nov,23 11:04 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Fox'News' isn't even calling their own programs 'news programs', but 'opinion programs', because their lies would keep getting them sued every other day.
I put 'News' in their name between apostrophes, because they are not a news channel. They completely lack all journalistic integrity, their only goal is to spread an ideology.

"Fox News itself made the argument in court that no reasonable person would consider Tucker Carlson's show on Fox News a credible news source."

The only time a liberal news network ever had to argue that they were voicing an opinion, was when Rachel Maddow was sued. She won, by the way, and OAN has been ordered to pay Maddow and MSNBC’s $250,000 in legal fees.
If MSNBC didn't call themselves a news network, like Fox'News' doesn't,
that lawsuit would have been dead in the water, before it even started.

Thinking something without reason = fooling yourself.
What's your reason for highly doubting what I'm saying?

Why Mar-a-Lago is really only worth between $50 and $70 million:

By phart at 09,Oct,23 13:29 other posts of phart
Have you ever been to a public auction? you know, where you stand around a item that you want and you raise your hand until you are the last 1 and you pay the price you agreed to?
I have watched machines, tractors, cars ,etc go for much higher prices than actual market value because the bidder wanted this particular 1 or they were trying to outbid their nemesis.

Anything on the open market is worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay.
By Ananas2xLekker at 09,Oct,23 16:04 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
The buyer is not willing to pay several times the worth.
Are you going to pay $250,000 for a beat up Ford Focus?
That's what Trump is arguing. Even you should not fall for it.

Mar-a-Lago would only have such value, if the buyer could
clear the property and put a high value skyscraper on it.
It's not worth the money, because those things are all not allowed.

If you say to the 'tax-man' your house is worth $10,000, to pay less taxes,
and you say to the 'bank-man' it's worth $500,000, to get a big loan,
you will get into big big trouble, because that's fraud.
Why wouldn't it be fraud, if Trump is doing exactly that?
By phart at 09,Oct,23 22:06 other posts of phart
What you and alot of others are not understanding is, the BANK must feel like it is worth it or they would NOT loan the money on it. DO you think banks loan money willy nilly?
NO< you APPLY for a loan, and you are approved or disapproved based on their reseach.
By Ananas2xLekker at 10,Oct,23 13:18 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
That's nonsense. You obviously know nothing about accountancy.
It's the company that is responsible for accurate valuation.
Providing incorrect values is fraud.
By phart at 10,Oct,23 19:15 other posts of phart
again, the BANK loaned the money, the bank was paid back, they must have trusted the numbers or it would not have happened.

Would YOU want to be the 1 that loaned a 100 million dollars on something worth 50 cent if the shit hit the fan? NO,
By Ananas2xLekker at 11,Oct,23 08:32 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
If you sign a document saying your penthouse is 30,000 sq ft,
but it is actually 11,000 sq ft, that's fraud.

On bank statements, Trump valued Mar-a-Lago as high as $739 million.
His tax appraiser’s valuations ranged from $18 million to $37 million.

You try that on your next tax return and get back to me how it worked out.
By phart at 11,Oct,23 13:36 other posts of phart
You know how it would work out? the tax man would raise the tax bill to the 739!And collect the taxes.

When I get the tax bill on 1 of my trucks, every 5 years the county does a reevaluation. I get a tax bill based on 5 times what the truck is worth, I have to drive it to the county office, and let the shit hook appraiser look at it, and he says, "we're sorry, it's the computer, it thinks it is a restored truck'.
By Ananas2xLekker at 11,Oct,23 17:20 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
That should be how it works out, if he hadn't done fraud.
The whole reason for why he is indicted is because he told
the low value to the tax man and the high value to the bank man.
Wealthy people can get away with this shit, because their taxes
are fucking complicated intentionally and the tax authorities
are defunded, so they are unable to check all those fraudsters.
This is what we discussed a while ago and what Biden wanted to fix.

You might have to go to the county for a reevaluation, but wealthy people
use commercial real estate valuation companies. If a fraud like Trump provides them with false data or keep certain facts from them, they will report an incorrect value. Then there are also rogue valuation companies who help you cook the books in your favor. Or you hire a crooked lawyer, who all arranges it for you, which is what Michael Cohen's job was.

Trump employs lots of crooked lawyers. They are more expensive than normal lawyers, but they have no problem with for instance writing a statement, to the Justice Department, that their client has returned all the classified documents
he stole, and then let some newbie lawyer sign it.

When you own something here in the US, YOU don't tell the TAX MAN a damn thing. HE TELLS YOU what something is worth and it up to YOU to prove him wrong if it is to high.
If you tell the bank something they confirm it before taking action.
when I put up some stock for collateral on a loan, they confirmed the stock was worth more than I was borrowing, so they could recover their money if I failed to pay it back.

What justification do you have to call them 'crooked',
other than that you don't like them indicting Trump?
Can you show any misrepresentation of the law?

Has any of them been caught with gold bars of unexplained sources?
Are they caught hiding gifts from some rich friend, like Clarence Thomas?

Or is this just your 'common sense' again?

That's all correct for YOUR HOME. It's exactly the same in my country. Every year in the first quarter, I receive a Real estate valuation (WOZ) decision from the municipality. I have tried to challenge the valuation once, because they calculated the volume of my house incorrectly. It went nowhere, because they claimed the value was calculated compared to comparable properties.
However, neither you or I have a commercial property, Trump's properties ARE commercial properties. The value of a commercial property is also dependent on the commercial activities taking place on the property.

It is correct that a state tax assessor is responsible for assessing the commercial property value, but they cannot just do that with what they can see or find in archives about the property, they need to be provided accurate revenues and operating expenses. If Trump cooked those numbers, then he has committed tax-fraud. In 2022 two Trump Organization companies were found guilty on multiple charges of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records.
only registered users can see external links

What is Trump accused of?
Judge Engoron found that Trump, his business and his two adult sons — Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump — fraudulently inflated the value of his assets, lying to tax collectors, lenders and insurers.
An example is Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, which was overvalued on one financial statement by as much as 2,300 percent, according to the court’s findings.
Trump also lied about the size of his Manhattan apartment. He claimed his three-story Trump Tower penthouse was nearly three times its actual size, valuing it at $327m.

The news is that Trump agreed with the low value of one appraiser and (in 2020) said argued that 24 million was too high a value (talking about value for tax purposes). Depending on the legitimacy of the business records he provided, to challenge the valuation of the appraiser, he either also committed tax-fraud, or not.

Ananas2xLekker I really suggest you look up property value in the area of Mar-a-Lago. Doubt you will believe that either though. Hard to believe that a piece of property is worth so much considering where you are located.

But a bank is not going to approve a loan that is not guaranteed, so EVEN if it was over valued, which it was not, then that is the lenders fault.

Would you borrow me ten thousand dollars on my saying that I am worth it. I think not. Stop trying the lib spin.

A house down the block from me one eighth of a mile sold for 124 million, the man even has his own fire department/three fire trucks. Is it worth it, probably not, the houses around him are selling between 5-25 million, just because the man has that much money to spend/ from Saudi Arabia, doesn’t mean that estate is worth that much, oh, he built five homes on that property one of which has 68 bedrooms. Why you ask, because he’s bringing family and friends here to live on his estate without wanting American presence there. The people of the neighborhood didn’t know what he was building and now are up in arms not wanting him there,,, too late, when you have money, you can have anything you want and value it at your own price.--------------------------------------- added after 2 minutesIf anyone is interested in a picture of this estate, in sunshine ranches let me know b4 the wall goes up, I will take a picture of this little city he had built.

Just bare, rough wooded land around me is 70,000 a acre now or more. If something is for sale,it is worth what the buyer is willing to pay,and what the bank is willing to LOAN on it.

You all could just watch the video, listen and learn something.
The value of a property is dependent on location, but also on potential usage.
A piece of land can be in a perfect location, but if building codes only allow
low intensity agriculture there for example, than it is worth way less,
than when building codes allow the development of apartments there.

A property is indeed worth what a buyer is willing to pay,
but what a buyer is willing to pay is dependent on earning potential.
If you can just live there, it's value is comparable with other properties of similar size and luxury on similar locations, which is not hard to valuate, for a specialist.
If a property has the potential to be developed into a very profiting other purpose, like when it's a prime location for waterfront luxury apartments, then the value is much more than other properties of similar size and luxury on similar locations.

Mar-a-Lago comes with many restrictions. The property can be used for what Trump already uses it for and not much else.
Since Mar-A-Lago generates an estimated $10 million yearly revenue, it's not worth what Trump makes it out to be. It's very possible that a better businessman could make more revenue out of that property, but they are not going to pay even 10 times what they expect the yearly revue to be.

For capitalists, you lot really don't understand capitalism.

Revenue Multiple= Selling Price / Annual Revenue

If you turn Mar-A-Lago into a spa, the Revenue Multiple would be 0.59.
That would be a commercial value of $5.9 million, at Trumps current revenue.

As a socialist ,you sure don't understand market conditions .there is no logic when it comes to big money.

If a bank loaned Trump 100 million dollars using his golf cart for collateral, and the loan is paid back, there is no crime commited ,no harm done. Just some jealous liberal jurks trying to interfere with the 2024 election.
By Ananas2xLekker at 11,Oct,23 08:50 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
"there is no logic when it comes to big money."
Yes there is, but you just don't understand it.
It's the job of accountants to understand those big amounts.
But accountants are not coming to measure your penthouse.
They are dependent on accurate, reliable valuations.
And if someone lies on those valuations, they are committing a crime.
That crime disadvantages their other clients, who don't get those loans.
And Trump also paid less taxes due to his crimes, which disadvantages
the taxpayers and the government.

A bank is not going to loan anyone 100 million dollars using a golf cart for collateral, unless their client is doing fraud. If they would do that, they are breaking the law themselves, because they are responsible to their shareholders by law.

You really used all the dumb arguments of your fake news media,
without giving it one extra thought. I've seen them all say the same.

You don't understand big amounts at all, just like you don't understand long time periods. When you say climate change isn't real, because the climate fluctuates
and it was warmer before in the past 500 million years, you are misjudging by factors up to 1,000,000 times. It is like misjudging the distance between New York and Los Angeles as the length of one car. That's not understanding big numbers.

The best way to turn into a socialist, is understanding capitalism and realizing
that what you have in the US doesn't comply with several important principles
of capitalism, like honest competition, consumer sovereignty and employee autonomy. What you have is a kleptocracy.

"What determines the value of property for tax purposes?
Assessed value is the dollar value assigned to a home or other property for tax purposes. It takes into consideration comparable home sales, location, and other factors. Assessed value is not the same as fair market value (what the property could sell for) but is often calculated as a percentage of it."

"In most states and municipalities, assessed value is calculated as a percentage of the property’s fair market value. The percentage rate used can vary considerably from one place to another. For example, at 10%, Mississippi uses one of the lowest percentage rates in the nation for owner-occupied, single-family homes to establish assessed value.1 By contrast, Massachusetts uses a very high percentage rate of 100%"

"Trump, along with his sons Don Jr. and Eric, had slammed Engoron as an “unhinged” and “political jack judge” following his ruling in the fraud case last week, with the former president estimating the Florida estate is worth “100 times more than [Engoron] values it.”"
At best property’s fair market value can be 10 times the assessed value, in Mississippi with its 10%. That means he either committed bank fraud or tax-fraud or both.

"How does Florida assess property value for taxes?
The just value is the property's market value. The assessed value is the just value minus assessment limitations (see the Save Our Homes section below)"

"In Florida, the date of assessment, or valuation, is January 1. The property appraiser determines property values based on the previous year’s market activities."

So what's in state law of Florida? Here's the state law of Washington:
"State law requires that county assessors appraise all property at 100 percent of its true and fair market value in money, according to the highest and best use of the property. Fair market value or true value is the amount that a willing and unobligated buyer is willing to pay a willing and unobligated seller. The county assessor values real property using one or more of three professional appraisal methods."

"Your property tax is calculated by first determining the taxable value. The taxable value is your assessed value less any exemptions. The taxable value is then multiplied by your local millage rate to determine your ad valorem taxes. Ad valorem taxes are added to the non-ad valorem assessments. The total of these two taxes equals your annual property tax amount."

The property values in the area of Mar-a-Lago are important, and calculated in the value of that is generally accepted for Mar-a-Lago; between $50 and $70 million. It is not worth more, because there are very limiting restrictions on the property, making it impossible to anything worth much more than Trump is already doing with it. Trump had his company appraise Mar-a-Lago for much lower than between $50 and $70 million, for tax purposes, as a business property. For bank guarantees, he inflated the value to something completely unrealistic and called it residential property. According to the law, that's fraud. If you did that, you would get fined to hell. According to your Constitution, those laws apply to rich people, like Trump, just as much as to you.

So you admit the 18 million is WRONG.
By Ananas2xLekker at 20,Oct,23 08:53 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
That might be on the low end indeed.
But it might be an acceptable difference with the assessed value.

It's not the judge who made up that $18 million, Trump did.
For tax purposes, Trump challenged a value of $24 million as TOO HIGH.
But for anything besides taxes, Trump claims Mar-a-Lago is worth $1.8 billion.
Valuations of property cannot differ by a factor of 100.
But, if the Saudis want to buy my house for $39 million, they are welcome.

The Woodward Tapes are about Trump's failure to protect Americans against COVID-19, while he knew how dangerous it was, but intentionally choose to call it

a million Americans, mostly his own supporters, because they believed his lies.

I expected you to bring that up, because it's the only thing you have.

I can answer that; because any woman can just claim to have a child from your son. There are enough crazies in the world who could be lying about that. First, you find out if it's true and under which circumstances it became a reality (if it is true), and then you discuss the consequences. Just because a kid has Hunter's DNA, doesn't have to lead to Joe Biden recognizing them as his grandchild. Not even Hunter has any obligation to accept a child, if the woman didn't involve him in the choice to have that child.

Have they got any video tapes or similar of Trump sitting down with others to plan a insurrection? No. What is it about a large number of Americans independently deciding they are tire d of being fucked over and deciding to take their anger directly to the 1's in charge of making change happen? Just because it was all in favor of Trump, whom the democrats hate, they want to pin it on him.
My self and millions of other Americans still are not satisfied that the election was fair, honest .
He simply wanted investiogations into the fraud.
OF course some folks said there was none .Fox guarding the hen house mentality.

The democrats would have much more creditability had they investigated and proven once and for all 1 way or the other but they stood in the way using judges and the system to do so. Had they proven to the people there was no fraud, this mess would be over. But they didn't ,they ducked and fought back and created doubt.

"Have they got any video tapes or similar of Trump sitting down with others to plan a insurrection?"
It's damn close to that. READ!!!!

There are many internet and phone records of all of his closest allies conspiring to steal the election for him. There is enough to link Trump to that, but if some of them flip to save their own skin, that's more than is needed.

They had fake electors standing by, with fake election documents.
They are on video talking to Capitol Police in front of the capital, demanding to be allowed in to cast their votes. Their signatures are on the fake documents.
That's the most solid proof of their crimes that any judge ever had.
Those crimes are much worse than voting illegally, for which people have been imprisoned for years. Think they will go down for Trump?

"He simply wanted investiogations into the fraud."
HE GOT THEM. THEY INVESTIGATED EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER
AND FOUND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! BUT HE KEPT LYING!!!!!

There were more than 60 court-cases where Trump could have proven that election interference. Those were all investigated and turned out to be complete bullshit and intentional lies. But, he gets a chance again to prove that fraud, in court. Have at it!
Did Al Gore get 6o court-cases? NO, the supreme court shut him down, while he had PROOF that he won that election.
Your side stole an election already and has nothing to cry about.

Phart, if you commit a crime and there’s no video or audio of the crime, but, there are witnesses that saw you and testify against you, then, you will be prosecuted.
How about the recording of his call to the Georgia elections supervisor? “What I’m looking for is 10 thousand plus votes that haven’t been counted”…..Yeah, Phart, we all know your deniability of the facts.

I sort of agree with calling her arrogant, because I've seen a couple of discussions

I don't understand what makes you say she's racist though.

I knew about the jew remark but not about this 1 till just now, and I must say using the word "gypped" has never been a racist remark to me, It is a common word.

Sure, denying racism is racist, even if she apologized for it later. But I think it was mostly ignorance, rather than racism. She's hanging around with a lot of ignorant right-wingers. For someone who doesn't inform themself, that starts to rub off,
at some point.

The holocaust was definitely racists, besides being antisemitic.
The Nazis claimed to be the 'master race', not the 'master religion'.

The word 'gypped' comes from the term 'gypsy', which is a Romani person.
It's a derogatory term, based on prejudices towards gypsies, which is an
ethnic group, which makes it discrimination, by definition.

There are many common words that are discriminatory of origin.
There are also words that are completely innocent in certain usage,
but turn discriminatory, if used to address certain ethnic groups,
like for example the word 'slant'.
By phart at 11,Sep,23 21:54 other posts of phart
'gypped means you got screwed
Jewin' em down means you are trying to get a lower price. Comes from the Jewish people trying to get something cheaper.

By phart at 12,Sep,23 13:43 other posts of phart
about what? He just explained elsewhere about how words are created, redefined and so forth ,such as "woke". So why the worry over gypped or jewin'? Just redefining things to suit the modern narritve
you use the word hillbilly or redneck sometimes as if it is derogatory, and it wasn't until recently.
By Ananas2xLekker at 12,Sep,23 18:41 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
I agree that it is 'woke' to not use words with racist origin anymore.
I don't worry much over these words, but I also don't worry over losing them.

There is a difference between those words and 'hillbilly' and 'redneck',
because those are not determined by ethnicity or religion.
They are derogatory for uneducated southerners and not just white people.
Derogatory terms specifically for just white people, like 'cracker', are also
discriminatory, but I do consider that white people have been mostly the perpetrator of discrimination and not the victim.

If it's just a few soundbites of less than 1 minute, don't bother, because you can cut any talk to any soundbite, to mean anything. That's why soundbytes alone aren't evidence. But there is mountains more proving Trump's conspiracy to turn the election.
It's even clear that Trump didn't invent the idea, but he certainly embraced it.

By Ananas2xLekker at 03,Oct,23 16:54 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
If there is 41,000 hours of U.S. Capitol Police surveillance video available,
it's not that hard to pick and choose half an hour of it, and put a spin on it
any way that suits a narrative, they want to put out there.

It's very clear what happened that day. It was the final chapter of Trump's plan to steal the election. He had worked the weak minds of his followers for months before the election, so they all believed the election was stolen. Loosing 60 court cases didn't change their minds. They were his foot soldiers, who only had one job; disturb the counting of the Electoral College votes and threaten Pence to delay the counting, so Trump could send in his fake electors, who were waiting outside the capital.

It would have worked, if Mike Pence had been willing to screw the constitution for Trump. Unfortunately, unlike Trump, Pence is a Christian extremist who is all to willing to lie for his side, up to a point where he believes it condemns his soul. If he believed Trump's story only in the slightest, he had surely justified this treason against the American people, as an assignment from God. But Pence didn't believe it at all.
There is no better evidence that Trump is a lying traitor.
By phart at 03,Oct,23 17:16 other posts of phart
At least we agree that with all that footage someone can take some of it and put a spin on it for their narrative.

They are very amused how only Republicans are still defending him.

Did you change 'Biden' to 'Trump' in your question?
"How many gold bars did Biden get from Egypt?"?
In any case, I answered your question for Biden.
If you have evidence for any Biden 'quid pro quo', let's see it yet.
And no more falsified evidence from Republicans again.

Trump has received his bribes mostly from Saudi Arabia. I don't know about Egypt.
For as much as is clear in his tax returns, Donald Trump made at least $9.6 million from countries in the Middle East during his presidency.

What was very funny, during Trump's New York civil fraud trial, Trump argued that he didn’t fraudulently inflate the value of his real estate holdings, because he could sell them to Saudi buyers at any price he chooses.

I think I saw someone mention Biden's impeachment being at hand, but I cannot find
that comment anymore. It's an important topic, so I'll give my opinion.

There was definitely something fishy with Hunter Biden's cushy, well-paying job. He's was rightfully being investigated for it and they have indicted him for it. But, it looks like they cannot find something very illegal or worse than the standard American corruption, so they're now trying to get him on some bogus gun charges, which no one else has ever been convicted over as a stand-alone case.
only registered users can see external links

There is however NO EVIDENCE AT ALL, linking any of it to Joe Biden.
That means there is no reason for those impeachment investigations, other than revenge for the investigations and indictments of Trump. It's the standard Republican hypocrisy and projection, to talk about weaponisation of impeachment and legal processes to hurt political enemies and then do exactly that.
It's only the lunatic MAGA politicians like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz who support that, and many other Republicans, even some from The Freedom Caucus are advising against it. Kevin McCarthy doesn't even want to do it, but he gave the lunatics the power-cord to his job, and they are threatening to pull the plug.

First, Republicans need Joe's financial records. Remember how this proceeded when Trump was ordered to provide similar records?
only registered users can see external links
Republicans might need a judge to order Joe to provide them,
but they need at least some evidence against him, to justify that.

It's all a big gamble, because most of the American voters will recognize this for what it is. Unless the investigations find real evidence of Biden involved in that corruption, the voters will punish the Republican party for it.

Understand that the Republicans do not have two-thirds of the senators.

If Biden's impeachment is voted down, with the help or some Republicans, than Biden will only gain support.
If all the Republicans, in a fully bullshit partisan way, vote to impeach Biden, without good evidence against him, that will hurt the Republicans in swing states, probably dealing even more damage to the Republicans.

The Republicans' only chance is finding so much evidence that it convinces some Democrats to vote against Biden. That's asking a lot from their honesty, after all the Republicans voted against Trump's impeachment twice, while they had openly said Trump was guilty of doing what he was impeached over.

If Biden is actually impeached, it doesn't give the presidency to the Republicans.
The Vice President shall become President. You have to ask yourself the question;
What is president Kamala Harris going to do?
I don't know the answer, I don't know if it's good for the Republican party,
but I know there's a very slim chance that we will ever find out.

NO EVIDENCE!

That laptop shows Hunter peddled influence, but it clears Joe.
You cannot impeach a president over what his adult son does.

And remember, just finding some suspicious act, still isn't 'Quid Pro Quo'!
Or does that only count for Trump?

They already investigated most of Hunter and Joe's financial records.
It's actually stunning that they didn't find anything like that, because
literally every Republican is doing what you accuse Joe Biden of.

Clarence Thomas is peddling his JUDGEMENTS, through his wife
and personally, by accepting lost of gifts from his rich friends.
And there is lots of evidence for that. Still hard to prove 'Quid Pro Quo'!

Related to the investigation into Hunter Biden's cushy, well-paying job:

Jared Kushner secured a $2 billion investment from a fund led by the Saudi crown prince, a close ally during the Trump administration, despite objections from the fund's advisers about the merits of the deal.

Why would this not be 100X more fishy?

So, I'm sure everyone agrees with Jared Kushner getting investigated.

And why did he get it? For brokering a weapons deal and having the administration stay silent on the genocide in Yemen and the murder of American citizen Jamal Khashoggi, by agents of the Saudi government.

By Ananas2xLekker at 21,Jul,23 09:42 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Because it's a one sided story, which just focuses on the riots,
while completely disregarding why people were protesting in the first place.

No one 'tolerates' that behavior. I don't either, I only support peaceful protests.
Still, I understand where the anger comes from, that resulted in that behavior.
The writer of that song shows no sign that he understands anything that people
who are different from him go through. Anyone who cannot do that is a bigot,
by my definition.
By phart at 21,Jul,23 15:57 other posts of phart
The anger ,why not vent it in a way that is constructive?
Much more creditability to their claims if done so.No need to understand what a rioter has been thru, they could apply their efforts towards improving their situation, the destruction is the only concern and that it needs to stop.
By Ananas2xLekker at 25,Jul,23 14:02 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
How would you suggest venting anger in a constructive way?
Also, why should they be constructive?
Isn't it time that your governments starts being constructive?
How about actually fixing the problem of police violence?
By phart at 25,Jul,23 17:04 other posts of phart
To fix police violence you have got to teach the public to respect them and not hate them.Make their work environment safer. When they are out gunned, out manned, out financed, by the crooks, and they have been shot at, spit on, and etc, when they get the sorry bastards in their hands ,it is very easy to understand why it is difficult to hold back. especially with the revolving doors of justice letting the same crook out every day!
You expect a cop to walk up to a crime scene with a radio and a note pad while the crook has a uzi. can you not see the problem here? The crook does not obey the law, does not respect the law,and does not care about the law or the men enforcing it. So the cop is at a great disadvantage.

WHy should they be constructive? Hell, that is a stupid question if you ever ask 1.
Why should they destroy should be the question .The more resources they waste and destroy is that much less available to them.
Venting anger, if you don't like the way your government treats you,run for office yourself.
Vote to have people in office that will make the changes,
Spend your money with the folks that support your ideas.
alot of ways of venting without destruction.
It is difficult to be constructive in government when all they do is hate on a FORMER President. and won't deal with the current crooks in office.
By Ananas2xLekker at 27,Jul,23 11:22 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
If the cops are just killing crooks, they wouldn't complain,
but they kill just anyone that they consider a threat,
which can be for any reason, mostly just for being black.
Respect is earned, not given and they haven't done anything lately
to earn any respect. At least, not from people who dislike fascists.

Young, liberal people who hate fascist cops, ARE running for office.
The old, conservative, corporate, swamp monsters hate that and do everything to stop that. Your media is doing their best to help them, calling them crazy extremists and telling people to vote for a 'safe candidate', like Biden. There is complete unity between Republicans and corporate Democrats, that they should do anything and everything to prevent an educated young black person, who wants to do something about police violence, to run for office and win any votes.

The former president is the biggest crook to ever be president in the US,
and that's saying something. Biden is just your standard, legally corrupt politician. Every Republican politician is doing the same.
The Republicans are now ALL planning to vote against the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act, that would make them be a lit less corrupt.
They can still take presents from their rich friends, but they would need to report it and should recuse themselves for any cases involving their rich friends.
The Republicans are calling it the death of the Supreme Court. Finally someone is really 'draining the swamp' and the Republicans all show you they love the swamp.

What would you expect? That violent crime was evenly spread among the population?
Why would a rich guy, living in Beverly Hills have an equal amount of reason for committing a violent crime, as a poor, uneducated guy, living in a rough neighborhood? One can just swoosh by all the dangers, in his car. The other has to walk home, passing other rough neighborhoods, where he maybe had some fight once, with some asshole who wanted his sneakers. See how you would get home.
It ain't self-defense when a poor black guy does it. That's what you meant, right.

Many of them try, many of them fail.
Some are just stupid. Is that their fault?
Some are just lazy. I can relate to that, working sucks! Even nice work.
Still, with some help from my government, I turned into a useful cog in the machine.
So, why is it just up to THEM? Why not be pragmatic about it?
By phart at 24,Jul,23 13:16 other posts of phart
Well 1 phrase that has some roots in the Bible is 'the Lord helps those that help themselves".
Regardless of a persons religious beliefs, it is not hard to read that and understand what it is saying, that helping someone that is trying is the right thing to do. BUT to help someone that does NOT try, common sense would derive ,that is it is wasted effort, leave them under the bridge so to speak.

As for Stupid, yes, it is their fault. They need to make a effort to fix it. Unless it is shown that it is some type of handicap that they were born with, then help is needed and should be provided.

Lazy, yep, leave em under the bridge until they get hungry and offer them work for food.
By Ananas2xLekker at 25,Jul,23 14:11 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
That's a stupid bible verse! So even if the poor helps themselves,
they can still only rely on nothing but the lords help, aka nothing?

Stupidity is probably hereditary, but it's mostly cultural.
Right-wingers praise stupidity and hate education and science.

Your ideas create a society that doesn't progress anywhere.
How about MAGA? You're sadly mistaken, if you think your idea will MAGA.
The US has tried it for decades your way and it only resulted in a dwindling middle class and lots of poor people who are working their asses off for almost nothing.
By phart at 25,Jul,23 17:07 other posts of phart
Dumbass, if you see the poor helping themselves YOU help the poor. What part of that is hard to understand?
When the poor sit and whine and do nothing to fix their situation, aka, ask for a job, ask what they can do ,take a bath in the creek to make themselves feel better, allot they can do.
And why does there need to be "progress"?
Why change? why Move, why not settle down and live day to day?
By Ananas2xLekker at 27,Jul,23 11:42 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
You're the dumb-ass for not seeing that most of the poor ARE WORKING!!!
And when the economy changes and they have a chance to get better jobs,
you want to force them to take those lousy paying jobs and not complain.

"And why does there need to be "progress"?"
Because too many people are living horrible lives.
That's not their fault, that's society failing them.
And mostly, because humanity is killing nature,
which we need to survive ourselves.

You want people to pull themselves up by their bootstraps,
but you want society to sit on its ass? Why?

Humans have made it this far, by cooperating with each other.
That's what sets us apart from animals. Now there are 8 billion of us.
That's creating a problem. As a raging virus, we are killing our host.
The only way to prevent that, is by working together even more.
It's not going to be solved by letting everyone just figure it out for themselves and definitely not by trusting the most selfish among us, to solve it.

If Republicans would split-up into the MAGA party and the RINO party,
they would serve your country enormously.
Then the Democrats could split-up into the corporate and the progressive parties.
Together with the 'third' parties you already have, that would be a nice spread.

It's the way from a Dominant-party system to a Parliamentary democracy, which is
way more representative and would reduce the divisive nature of your politics.
They would need to actually represent their voters, instead of saying 'we are not them'.

Trump and the Republicans are actually planning laws to give the president full control over everything and eliminate all the checks and balances obliged by the constitution. That SHOULD be an instant dismissal by the supreme court, but Trump installed three of his enablers and the supreme court already contained several right-wing ideologues, who don't give a fuck about the constitution or precedent.

What Joe is doing is all within the law. And you're a nitwit for calling that socialism. It's weak sauce neo-liberalism, with some social democracy as topping. He has not changes any laws pulling power towards the president and he has listened to the Parliamentarian. He could replace the Senate Parliamentarian easily, who nixed the $15-an-hour federal minimum wage, but he didn't. The people are by a large majority in favor of a $15-an-hour federal minimum wage, so it would be DEMOCRACY to implement that. But, he didn't, because he only promised it to appear less right-wing than he actually is.

But, you tell me; what is Joe doing that you find authoritarian?
Just some of the things he PROMISED to do? Which, in a democracy,
he is then obligated TO DO!?!

But, of course your brain is twisted to a pretzel, so actual democracy is authoritarian
in your mind and a president trying to overturn a landslide election victory against him, in a system that is already stacked in his favor, that's democracy to you.

Is this finally the list of his crimes?
Is this what you call him the most corrupt president for?
THERE IS NOTHING CORRUPT OR CRIMINAL THERE!
LYING??? Really? While you support Trump?
So Hunter Biden got someone pregnant. How many unrecognized children would Trump have, from all the r@ping Trump did?
In any case, that is something on Hunter and he is not the president.
Covering up the truth about himself is even one of the cases against Trump.
If he hadn't used campaign money for that, it would have been legal.
"inappropriate behavior"? Like what? Trump has made death threats against many people. That's the most inappropriate behavior ever performed in American politics.

All my problems with my political opponents are on policies. I have a difference of opinion with them, on how to organize the economy, society and democracy and I want other priorities, more equality, transparency, accountability and more respect for human dignity. When my political opponents do something that represents my values, I compliment them, when they attack my values, I go on the counter offensive.
What I hear from you is only character assassination and attacks on personal issues, which are mostly not even true.
That's because your sources are nothing but propaganda. They are just distractions from what is actually important, to lead a country, to improve the life of its citizens.

Remember you're country has a male as miss netherland.
By Ananas2xLekker at 20,Jul,23 10:20 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
How are those two concepts even slightly related?

Accepting bribes from foreign Countries? Like Saudi Arabia paying for lots of Trump Hotel rooms, but never using them? Or Saudi Arabian real estate developer Dar Al Arkan signing an agreement with Trump's company? Or Jared Kushner's family making a $2 Billion deal with the Saudis? And of course then selling lots of weapons to Saudi Arabia to do a genocide with in Yemen and stay silent about the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi, 'give a little, take a little'. (or a lot)

I didn't even know about that transgender Miss Netherlands, until you told me.
So she was born as a male? True, that is the whole concept of being transgender.

I'll explain it to you like you are a five year old;
Some boys are not happy being a boy. Some girls are not happy being a girl. That's called being transgender. They look like a boy, but they feel like they are a girl. Or they look like a girl, but they feel like they are a boy. Then there are some kids that are born as something in between a boy and a girl too.
If they are very sure and very unhappy with themselves, than we go talk to many doctors. Maybe they can help them be happy with the way they are, maybe they are homosexual, but just confuse that. If everyone agrees that the kid is indeed transgender, then they are allowed to be the gender they want, when they grow up. Then the doctors do a very difficult, very painful operation on them. They can make a man have a peepee and breasts like a woman and can make a woman have peepee and no breasts like a man. If they were born as a boy, then they are still male, in their genes (you know what those are, right?), but we call them a woman, because that's who they are looking like and behaving like now. That's called 'gender'. Being born as a man or a woman is called 'sex' and looking like, dressing like and behaving like a woman is called 'gender'. So, Miss Netherlands is a male as her 'sex', but she is a 'woman' as her gender. And we call her 'her', because that's just being nice.

Five year olds in The Netherlands have no problem understanding this.
But many full grown adults in America cannot understand something so simple.
There must be something wrong with the brain that those Americans are born with.
Maybe they prefer to identify as a mule, or an ostrich, or a pig.
But first lets get them to the brain doctor. They are obviously not happy,
as being part of humanity.

-------other topic------

Hunter Biden can take money from whoever wants to give it to him.
Hunter Biden is not a politician. So prove that Joe was involved.
There are rules for Biden, on who he can take money from, while he is
or was a politician. If he broke those rules, that is a crime.
If you have evidence for Joe Biden taking money in an illegal way,
you have a case. So far, I've heard nothing specific. There are just Republicans making wild and general accusations and every single story falls flat.

Thanks, that was pretty funny.

Did you notice the discrepancy between the video and the song?
Sylvester "El Gringo Pussygato" was doing his very best to keep out the Speedy Gonzales illegals, while the singer describes how he lets the illegals in his yard pave his driveway, clean all his cars, shovel all the snow, dig him a pool, landscape his lawn and cook him up some tacos.
That describes exactly the situation in your country; the people who hate those illegals the most, use them for cheap labor the most.

How about not doing that, so they don't have a reason to be in your country illegally?
Don't be asshole cheapskates like the singer; have some respect for desperate people
in horrible situations, allow them to work legally, for a fair compensation and they can fix their life, BY WORKING and making money, aka capitalism, the system you prefer,
while they pave your driveway, clean all your cars, shovel all the snow, dig you a pool, landscape your lawn and cook you up some tacos.

Same song, but now the video fits the lyrics.
He's still singing that those illegals pave his driveway,
clean all his cars, shovel all the snow, dig him a pool,
landscape his lawn and cook him up some tacos.
If anyone does that, they should get fined so hard,
that it would be cheaper to hire me to do that for you.

Our country is caring for hundreds of thousands of desperate people.
There is a war in Ukraine going on, remember?
There was a devastating earthquake in Turkey, remember?
Bashar al-Assad is still alive and kicking, remember?
There is lots of economic despair all over the world, remember?

It's not just your country that has a immigration problem,
but it's your country who is treating those people like shit,
while the US has way more capacity to absorb those people.

The problem with ILLEGAL immigration is of your own making.
If your government does not fight against illegal employment,
than that provides an incentive for illegal immigration.
By WOODY58 at 26,May,23 12:58 other posts of WOODY58
Ananas, controlling employers from hiring illegal is a good idea. The problem is that it's impractical. There's aprox. 6+million employers in the US. Too many to keep honest. The laws are there and the punishment can be severe, but, the reality is that illegals, because they have no choice, work for very cheap wages. Traditionally, in the food industry, where the profit margins are very small, they need to keep the biggest expense any business has. That would be the labor costs. The same in the hospitality, garment, and agricultural industries. Illegals fill a huge part of that niche. Of course there’s always the greedy bastard that thinks he’s so smart hiring illegals for menial work in their property. This last group, conceited as they are, believe they are “helping” the poor illegals. They are not. They are cheapskates and the law should not have any sympathy for them.
This country is big enough to absorb large number of illegals and not even burp. There’s in the neighborhood of 13 million ILLEGALS in the US. This is probably on the low side , but, even at 20 million, the country can absorb them. The reason is that, contrary to popular belief, everyone of them would be employed AND not take many if any jobs from the legals. Why? We, Americans, don’t like to clean toilets, squat to pick vegetables, change cummed sheets, or a whole list of other unpleasant work, even if the pay is really good.
I have a theory/suggestion. Why don’t we let illegals come in. Let’s give them a WORK DEBIT CARD. This allows them to work and their wages be direct deposited. They would have to check in with Immigration and Naturalization every three months or the debit card is “suspended”. They would not be protected by our labor laws including minimum wage. Only those industries named above would be able to hire them (ability to direct deposit). It’s just a suggestion.
By Ananas2xLekker at 26,May,23 14:44 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Is that an argument used for other crimes? Illegal employment is stealing.
It is stealing from the tax-payer and it is stealing jobs from citizens.
There is 330 million people in your country. Do you not have law enforcement
as a deterrence against people stealing from each other?
This is the same for illegal employment. Companies will keep doing it, unless the chance of getting caught and the punishment is high enough.

Your illegal employment problem is created by that 'deregulation' the Republicans always talk about. They made the laws very lax, the punishment soft and cut away on the enforcement on it, because their donors wanted that of them, to provide them higher profits. So they are speaking out of both sides of their mouth; on one side they are speaking against regulation, to provide cheap labor in the form of illegal immigrants and on the other they blame Democrats for the border crisis, which they themselves have created.

It's not true that this problem is uncontrollable. It just requires adequate labor inspection. We have this problem much less than you, while we have 2 million employers in a much smaller country. What we do have is lots of legal migrant workers being exploited. That's caused by the European union allowing those migrant workers and by our right-wing politicians cutting our labor inspection, with the argument that the employers are responsible enough to do self-control. That turned out to be complete bullshit, like all the other corporate-neoliberal changes they introduced.

Your suggestion is not a good idea. It will create second class citizens, with no rights, with a free pass for companies to exploit them. It will not just hurt them, it will hurt everyone. A country needs law and order to function correctly.
By phart at 26,May,23 19:01 other posts of phart
There is another solution. But of course you folks won't like it.
Lower the minumum wage so Americans will do the work and the mexicans wont' be needed. Americans will be the affordable labor and the mexicans can board boats and go over to the netherregions of europe and bum off all those people.
No mexican has ever mowed my grass ,washed my truck or anything else.Just how cheap will they work? I can't afford to pay much,
I do remember the gutter crew was mexican back in 2007 .
By Ananas2xLekker at 26,May,23 19:31 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
You know those illegals work for just a day of food, right?
And you want Americans to work for wages as low as that?
How are they going to afford a roof over their head, healthcare
and education for their children, at American prices?

People should be able to live off their labor.
What you are suggesting is a downwards spiral to medieval times.
Why are you even suggesting that? What will it be good for?
By phart at 26,May,23 22:18 other posts of phart
It would not be good for anything.
BUT if what you are saying is true that cheap labor why the democrats continue to leave the border open, then the only way to fix that is for American labor to be even cheaper.
And those illegals get more than a days food, they make damn good cash when they are working because they have a much better work ethic than Americans. 2 illegal male's from Mexico will out work a crew of 10 consisting of whites and blacks. This info comes from a former coworker that put in water lines.
By WOODY58 at 26,May,23 23:55 other posts of WOODY58
Phart you have the cart before the horse. These jobs are hard to fill at any wage. Lowering the minimum wage would not solve the problem.

By CAT at 26,May,23 21:36 other posts of CAT
If Americans are not willing to work for minimum wage now, what makes you think they'll work at all?

By CAT at 26,May,23 21:53 other posts of CAT
Ananas, illegal employment is created by hunger. Adequate labor inspection is exactly why your theory wouldn't work. Let's take (and it's true now) a factory in one of them"border towns" like Los Angeles. Are you familiar with the term, "MIGRA"? That's what illegals call Immigration. Let's say the factory is two acres big with 40+employees and several exits. The minute Immigration shows up, invariably, someone runs through the factory yelling, "MIGRA, MIGRA, MIGRA" and everyone runs out and disappears. I don't think what Woody58 suggests can be implemented. Many reasons for that, but, I do know, no illegals, no veggies and dirty bathrooms.
By Ananas2xLekker at 01,Jun,23 15:53 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Labor inspection doesn't just inspects the workplace, but also the books.
"Please explain how you can pack 100,000 pounds meat/day without any workers?"

This kind of illegal employment happens in Europe only in the most corrupt countries, like Italy. It happens way less in western Europe, because we have strict rules, better enforcement, larger fines and up to 5 years imprisonment, instead at maximum of 6 months.
The US should set his priorities straight. Instead of punishing non-violent, small-scale drug trade, punish large tax evaders and companies exploiting illegal employment.

There is never a reason for allowing illegal employment. Harvesting veggies and cleaning bathrooms are jobs and should pay enough to live on. If Americans don't want to do those jobs, pay LEGAL migrant workers to do it. You cannot have people living and working in your country under the radar. That's inhumane against them and dangerous for the rest.
By CAT at 01,Jun,23 15:59 other posts of CAT
But, then, you have to let immigrants in and make them legal. Try selling that to the Repuckers. I am in favor of that with SOME rules. I know Western Europe also struggles with illegal immigration or asylum seekers

That their hypocrisy. They say they want closed borders, but they always vote against regulation to reduce illegal employment. That's why Democrats should grow some balls and point that out on all TV channels constantly. They really don't know how to sell themselves. I disagree with Republicans on everything, but they know how to make themselves look good. It's all bullshit, but their base loves it. What do you get from Democrats?

No one forces them to cross into our country. No one forces them to seek out a job in our country. They came from somewhere, and if that somewhere is miserable, then the same work they claim to be so willing to do here, could be done THERE instead, fixing their own problems.

Well, at least you don't buy all the bullshit that is told about them.

By Ananas2xLekker at 01,Jun,23 15:57 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
That's why you don't want ILLEGALS. LEGAL migrant workers don't have to swim across a river and should have medical treatment. Then they don't spread bubonic plague, bedbugs and tuberculosis.
By phart at 01,Jun,23 17:23 other posts of phart
Well you make sense in that statement. But if the border slammed shut right now,we have a MESS already. How do we fix it?
By Ananas2xLekker at 02,Jun,23 16:35 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
You can build a border wall of 10 feet thick 100 feet high solid concrete and still illegals will find their way in. Probably with help of the companies who love their cheap labor.

You fix it, by setting clear rules on which immigrants you will allow in, as refugees fleeing the worst situations, like violence and persecution, and as LEGAL migrant workers. Then you share those clear rules with the world, so everyone who knows they don't comply, know there is no reason to try.

AND you ramp up labor inspections and other enforcement against illegal employment. You increase the chance of getting caught and the punishment when offenders get caught, to make it not profitable to use illegal employment. That's how you do law enforcement. Why do I need to explain that to someone who wants severe punishment for even minor offenses, for normal Americans?

THEN you let everyone who wants it, register as candidate for the status of refugee or migrant worker.

THEN you create an efficient process to decide which applicants apply to your clear rules. Everyone who doesn't comply, you send back to where they came from, within the shortest time possible for making such decisions. People who show up at your border, who try to make that process intentionally difficult, you put in a humane form of detention, until the then longer process is finished.
Any illegals that get caught, you also put in that humane form of detention, until their process is finished.

When you get that done, there will be no reason for immigrants to be illegal in your country. They have no way to feed themselves and will be better of in their country of origin, where they have a better chance to work for a living. If they actually are refugees, they have all the incentive to report and register, because they will have a chance to legally work in your country.

What also helps a lot, is NOT sanctioning South American countries to oblivion, because you don't agree with their politics. The citizens in those countries have a right to elect the leaders they chose. And if their countries aren't broken to shit, they don't have a reason to go to America.
If their leaders are corrupt, you sanction the leaders, not the country. But, look at your own corruption first, before you sanction other countries for being corrupt.

Can you ever think of an argument other than Biden's mental decline?
Unlike Trump's administration, the Democrats actually have smart professionals running the show, instead of a bunch of career idiots, dancing to the tune of a chaotic narcissists, who cannot read more than half a page and prefers pictures. Trump must have fired hundreds of them and every time appointed even worse replacements, or didn't replace them at all. The whole world was laughing about
such failure to run a government.

Like I said before, our 300X smaller country is allowing in more asylum seekers than yours. Meanwhile, we have a 20x higher population density, so you still have living space for them, we don't. And we don't allow them to work illegally.

Damn phart, that's racist as fuck. Why are they mating more than natives?

Don't you know that poverty and misery result in high birthrates?
The best way to reduce the world's population growth is spreading prosperity.

When immigrants get allowed into my country, I want them to integrate and develop at the highest rate we can achieve. Then they will procreate at the same level as every other Dutch person, which should be at an average birth rate well below 2 children per couple, to reduce the world's population.
It's currently at 1.55 births per female in The Netherlands.

Four sources agree with me. Of course they might be commercially biassed, but that's how all of our celebrations get commercialized. We never had Valentine's Day or Halloween, until commerce pushed it upon us. Now try to wiggle yourself out of the expectation to do something on those days. Your other half will not like that. Now you can still ignore that, but people will judge you to be a self-centered prick for it.
And especially Trump should know there are some obligations to having a gold-digging trophy wife. It comes with the obligation of regular presents. He seems to forgo his duties consistently, so he's 'not getting any'. At least, not from Melania.

Still, if you film it and call it porn, then it's legal. Top tip!

"Currently, Nevada is the only U.S. jurisdiction to allow legal prostitution – in the form of regulated brothels – the terms of which are stipulated in the Nevada Revised Statutes. Only eight counties currently contain active brothels."

Unless this information is out of date.

Another reason to investigate Donald Trump over, just came up.

Several years ago, there were rumors that Trump and Giuliani were selling pardons
to law-breaking rich people. There was however a lack of evidence to start investigations
into that obvious corruption. The fact alone, that Donald Trump granted executive clemency to 237 individuals (by issuing a total of 143 pardons) charged or convicted of federal criminal offenses, is not evidence of corruption. It's just a very suspicious list.
only registered users can see external links

However, a former employee of Rudy Giuliani, named Noelle Dunphy, is suing Giuliani
for $10 million over allegations of sexual assault and harassment, wage theft and “other misconduct,” including several instances that were recorded, according to a complaint filed Monday. It seems that the recorded evidence also contains evidence on Rudy Giuliani telling people that he had a deal with Trump for selling pardons at $ 2 million per client, which they were splitting 50/50.

That's a valid reason to add another investigation on Trump's crimes and corruption.

It should be easy as pie to convict him. He has admitted to several of his crimes on live TV. Have you seen that CNN Town Hall? I have seen some parts. He's being an absolute lunatic and the crowd is cheering. Couldn't CNN at least have put together an audience of mostly sane people?

At one point he is describing in detail how he accompanied E. Jean Carroll in a dressing room and the next minute he denies even knowing her. Any judge should just determine any word of Trump to be a lie by default.

“He is confessing on live TV”: Legal experts say Trump’s CNN town hall could badly backfire in court

Here are some of the legal matters going on against Trump (not a complete list).
The investigations into his classified documents case were not even mentioned.
Even his former White House Lawyer Ty Cobb expects Trump to go to jail for that.

Insurrection
- DC attorney general investigating Trump over January 6 riots
- Congresspeople suing Trump over Capitol attacks
- Representative Swalwell suing Trump and others for Capitol riots
- Seven Capitol police officers sue Trump
- Two Capitol police officers sue Trump
- Two DC metro police officers sue Trump over Capitol riot
- Capitol police officer Marcus J Moore sues Trump over January 6 riot

Financial
- Criminal investigation into tax crimes and insurance fraud
- Westchester golf course investigation for underreported property value
- New York state attorney general investigates Trump Organization for real estate property value fraud
- Misuse of 2017 inauguation money
- Mary Trump fraud suit
- Trump Corporation class-action suit

Election interference
- Fulton county election interference investigation
- NAACP sues Trump and RNC for trying to overturn election results

Sexual misconduct
- E Jean Carroll defamation suit #1 (found liable)
- E Jean Carroll defamation suit #2

Other
- Former top Ukraine adviser sues Trump for retaliation
- Trump Tower assault suit
- Michael Cohen suit for sending him back to prison as a retaliatory measure

What do you have on Biden then?

Haven't seen any list like that on Biden.

Don't expect Trump to get away with all of that.
There is a good chance he goes down for those documents.
And there is mountains of evidence on the election interference.
That's something even rich guys don't get away with.

E Jean Carroll defamation suit #2 is also a shoo-in, but that
won't land him in jail, just makes him pay her more money.
And he'd better not use campaign money to pay her, or it's
another legal matter on that long list.

He signed a contract. If someone could prove there was no fraud, according to specified standards of evidence, then he would pay that person $5 million.
The person provided the evidence required, and then Lindell wouldn't pay.
So he went to court, provided the evidence and won. Now Lindell has to pay.

It was Lindell's own dumb bluff, that causes him to pay that $5 million.
It also shows his 'evidence' is bullshit.

Yeah, they finally found their balls.

Hopefully not just for these small potatoes.
He still needs to face consequences for trying to overturn the election.

Even a former president should be held accountable for breaking the law.
If he's found guilty in a fair law process, he should be sentenced according to law.
If a fair law process shows he's innocent, then he's innocent.
Or do the 'law and order' people disagree?

By dgraff at 31,Mar,23 11:13 other posts of dgraff

I would not say that is impossible, if Biden had the authority.

However, this seems to be a state court and not a national court?
Trump is indicted by a Manhattan grand jury.

"The President's authority to grant clemency is limited to federal offenses and offenses prosecuted by the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia in the name of the United States in the D.C. Superior Court. An offense that violates a state law is not an offense against the United States."
By phart at 31,Mar,23 17:10 other posts of phart

Simply to bring peace back to the country.

By Ananas2xLekker at 01,Apr,23 07:46 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
The process of law and order should not depend on popularity.
If a judge finds Trump guilty of meddling in the election or
attempted insurrection, then Biden should not pardon him.
No one is above the law. Even powerful people should face consequences.

I understand that it's ironic for the people who chanted 'Lock her up!' about a Democratic presidential candidate. But, if that's your attitude, over something like a private email server, why should Democrats care about your feelings for your guy, who broke the law 1000x more?

Republicans investigated Benghazi 10 times and didn't find anything, but still keep talking about throwing Obama in prison. They investigated Hillary for three years and found nothing criminally enforceable.
It's on Trump himself that when Democrats investigate him, they find more shit than in the New York sewer system. You could learn from this and not elect candidates again who disrespects the law as much as Trump. He has been a crook for decades, but that's the guy you all fell in love with. That's very tiresome to people who actually care about law and order, and not just for the large majority of Americans.

So let them hurry up and get him indicted, because at this moment,
Trump is the prime suspect. We all saw him motivate a big crowd of people
to go to the capital to 'stop the steal' and 'fight like hell'.
And we saw him build up to that, even months before the election,
spreading rumors about election fraud, which all were proven to be false,
while Republicans were putting in place fake electors.

Copu and paste of email from Thom Tillis.
It seems that there is no case as decided by a judicial body far above the Da in new york

Friends,
The indictment of former President Donald Trump simply doesn’t pass the smell test.

The Department of Justice already looked into the facts and decided there was no case to be made against the former President. That didn’t matter to Alvin Bragg, the District Attorney who lets violent criminals off the hook in Manhattan, but has been laser-focused on pursuing a politicized prosecution of President Trump.

Politics should never tip the scales of justice, and I believe that Congress has every right to investigate the conduct and decision-making of the Manhattan D.A.’s office in the coming weeks and months.

But, at least, it's one choice more than people have in China, Russia,
Saudi Arabia or North Korea.
So better appreciate that choice, as long as they allow you one.
There are still some politicians who support providing more choices.
You could try voting for them in the primaries.
Maybe some day voting will feel less like a joke then.
By #679615 at 01,Apr,23 06:03
Don't you see it? It IS china, russia, saudi arabia, NK, palestine, united nations, vatican, United States and the puppets here are only bastards from hell that represent and create smoke screens.. The demons are what is said above.
By Ananas2xLekker at 03,Apr,23 08:00 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Those demons are MONEY. Your politicians don't represent people and they don't represent China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, NK, Palestine or the Vatican either.
They only represent their donors and they don't care if those donors live in America, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, NK, Palestine or the Vatican.
And those donors like it when their money is used to create smoke screens.
It's what they pay your corporate media and grifters on YouTube for.
Follow the money and see where it ends up.

By the way, why are you forgetting Israel? The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, has spent more than $12 million during the current election cycle in direct donations, and millions more through coordinated Super PACs, to oppose any candidate who questions or challenges Israel. Or do you like those bribes?

That's what happens if you let your politicians decide that millions of dollars in campaign funding, is 'free speech' and not corruption.
You make it way to easy for your politicians to blame hell and demons.
Blame voters, who voted for the politicians who made bribes legal.
By #679615 at 04,Apr,23 06:42
These politicians are supported by the lobby elitists. Isn't that what I said in the first place? I agree but this has been going on since before Christ.
Israel has been under attack since before Christ also. But it too has the left in support of Palestine. I believe their power has been diminished since Netanyahu came back into power. Since they tried to put him in jail is the same tactic they are doing to Trump now. Same game plan.

The lobby elitists? They are just paid representatives of the wealthy and corporations. You're correct that money has played a big role in politics, as long as there is politics. It's the people who should prevent that from getting out of control.

That's the nice thing about democracy; every person just gets one vote.
If however, those 'lobby elitists' succeed in making people think that money = speech and people vote for politicians who put into law, that the wealthy and corporations can give them unlimited amounts of money, then it's the voters who gave away their representation to those 'lobby elitists'.

And why get hell and demons into the discussion? I don't like lobbyists and the wealthy and corporations corrupting my representatives, but although they are selfish, I don't think they are evil enough to call them demons from hell. They are just using the system to enrich themselves. I think that system is bad for people, so I support alternatives for that system. Do you?

Israel didn't exist until 1948. That region was called Palestine before. Before that, it has been ruled by almost every country around it, every religion under the sun and later by western conquerors. I don't care that Jews claim that region was promised to them by God, because other religions claim the same thing. People of different religions have lived there for thousands of years, so it doesn't belong to just one group. Whenever one group tries to conquer the whole area for themselves, I consider the conquerors to be the bad group. Netanyahu is one of the biggest supporters of conquering the whole area and he is acting on it with violence and human rights abuses, so he is a very bad guy, in my opinion. He should be in jail for human right abuse, but if they can get him for also being a corrupt politician, that's completely warranted. I find it strange how you call corrupt politicians demons and then simultaneously defend the most corrupt politicians.

If there is nothing to go after, than 'they' can't put them in jail. Or is your brain messed-up enough, for you to think that the law is broken completely? If so, who does it serve now? Those demons from China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, NK, Palestine, United Nations and the Vatican? That's almost the whole world outside of the US.
When guys like phart call out a name, for 'they' it's billionaire George Soros, a JEW. So somehow, George Soros, a Jew, represents all of the world outside of the USA, including the Vatican, but not Israel. Do you support that 'logic'?

Why don't you just follow the money and see that most of the dollars corrupting your politicians are coming from Big Pharma, Big oil, Big Tech, Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex. They just want lower taxes for themselves and lower wages for people. And your politicians love to give it to them, because they are rich too.
Are you still voting for those corrupt assholes? You seem to think it's not those corrupt assholes who keep that corrupt system alive, but it's demons from China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, NK, Palestine, United Nations and the Vatican. So what is your solution? Don't you think that it would help to make it illegal for politicians to take money from Big Pharma, Big oil, Big Tech, Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex and China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, NK, Palestine, United Nations, the Vatican and pro-Israel lobby groups? How about creating laws that make your politicians just represent their VOTERS? Are there still some politicians left that you can vote for, who support taking money out of politics?

I've been a deplorable since 2015. I'm registered. Desantis should be the ticket in 2028 but he's not ready yet in 2024. With the deep state as the enemy I think Trump has more experience dealing with them. I'm just pissed that he choosed the wrong people for the job, such as sessions, Barr, Pence who is a traitor I don't give a fuck what people tell me. You are right that the establishment controls both the democrats and republicans. Trump is a rogue from this and it's a miracle he hasn't been killed yet. If somehow, we win the election, he's going to have to be absolutely sure he picks the right district attorney this time who knows who to hire as special prosecutors. My suggestion would be Rudolf Guiliani.
It's just that the justice system in this country is Rotton down to the core. as a citizen I believe in democracy and education. I'll do what I can but if the elections are fucked up this time there will be no more democracy left to repair.
By Ananas2xLekker at 05,Apr,23 10:13 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
I don't consider you a 'deplorable'. I'm sure you want the best thing for your country.
I just think you are confused, if you think that Trump or DeSantis are good for your country.

If you believe in democracy, you would not support Trump, because he tried to destroy democracy. The justice system in your country at least worked in that case, because they dismissed all of Trumps cases of fraud, because he didn't have the smallest shred of evidence. Every investigation into the elections showed that the fraud Trump claimed existed, did not exist. Trump was lying from months before the election, until today. Meanwhile, there are piles of evidence that Republicans were trying to overturn the election with fake electors and we have all heard how Trump was trying to get election officials to 'find' non-existent votes.

Why would you still suggest Rudolf Giuliani, after he made a mess of everything he did and is now disgraced by Trump, for not paying him, not returning his loyalty when he got into trouble for Trump, and turning his reputation from the respected mayor of New York during 9/11, into that dumb-ass that lied for Trump, who stood in front of a landscaping business, had leaking hair-dye, farted on camera and tried to fuck 'Borat's daughter'? If you want a better justice system in your country, don't support that loser.

2 partys ,sure, not alot to choose from
BUT if you mix in 2 more partys, then all it does is divide the votes up to the point that the ruling party will probably stay in.
For example ,if Trump does not get the republican nomination. He decides to run under a 3rd party ticket. The election would go back to the democrats because the conservative vote would be divided.
By Ananas2xLekker at 05,Apr,23 10:22 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
You don't understand any other democracy but your own. There is no 'ruling party',
if there are enough parties to ensure there is never one party powerful enough to rule on its own and when the people have the opportunity to drop one party that has not worked for them and vote for another.

It's your winner-takes-all-system, where you are forced to vote for either one of the two major parties, that results in both parties not representing their voters, but just their donors. In a system where multiple parties can cooperate with each other to create a majority of seats, you can just vote for a '3rd party ticket' and they could still become part of the majority group, passing laws and shaping the country. In time, such a '3rd party' can even become the biggest party. That is almost impossible in your system.

You, as a conservative, could just vote for the conservative party that best represents all of your interests and when the conservatives than have a majority, your party then gets in the cabinet, where they work to represent all of your interests. And when conservatives do not have a majority, but other interests you have do have a majority, your party often still becomes part of the cabinet and works with other parties who share those interests to get them represented.
You think you are either fully winning or fully losing in your system, but you are not.
It's just the partisanship that both parties created, often by working together, to make you think that. You are losing either way. They are just making you feel satisfied and think like you won anything, when they make the other side lose even more.

Well I am not going to break down a door or break glass or kill a cop, but I have went back to wearing my Make America Great again camo hat. And just in the past 2 days I have had at least 4 people comment that they liked my hat.
Gee,I wonder why? Since I started wearing my hat way back when Trump came along, which is NOT red, none of my Trump hats are, I have only had 1 person come up and tell me I need to change hats, and my reply to him was, "naw, just need to change acquaintance's from 1's offended to some that aren't. He just smirked and we are still friends today. Even as a democrat he carrys concealed because he is disabled and supports gun rights.
By Ananas2xLekker at 23,Mar,23 08:55 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
You have all the right to protest peacefully. Actually, in my opinion, you have the right to protest less peacefully, as long as it doesn't hurt people. Just don't block a street in Florida, because DeSantis law calls that 'rioting' and made it a crime. However, I'm sure he wouldn't enforce it for Trump's 'rioters', right?
And remember that Republicans in 15 states have been working to change laws on 'self defense' for drivers who get stuck in a group of 'emotional protesters'. Or do you get the dog whistle, that this is only intended to drive over BLM supporters?

Approving comments from 4 people is only a sign that Trumpism is not dead.
Everyone knows that. You're still a minority. Just a very loud minority.
And you're probably not living in the most liberal area of the US.

Why don't you get any negative comments on your camo MAGA hat?
Because most people don't like to get shot and killed. People like life.
Just wearing anything camo in a build area, is like wearing a sign 'I'm a gun nut!'.
With the number of gun deaths in your country, no one is stupid enough to confront you on your public exposure of your political ideas. You're just showing that your side is more violent, because lefties are not in the position to openly show their political ideas, unless they have a death wish. So in my opinion, what you're doing is gaslighting people who don't share your opinions, but are not allowed the freedom to express theirs, by your side. And you are proud of that gaslighting. You learned that from the proudest gaslighter in the world: Trump!

North carolina finally got a riot law in place. i feel like they should pay for the damages. Business's along a rioters route have done nothing to deserve being burned to the ground. If you burn police cars, that only takes away tax money to replace it as insurance does not cover it fully and etc.
As for running over Blm'ers, I have no sympathy for a dumbass that blocks a interstate. And if rioters come towards me with bats and guns and I have no where to go but thru them to save myself, tough shit for them. I am not going to be Rodney Kinged by a bunch of crazy riotersWell I can't change what people interpret but the only reason I have a camo hat with the maga on it is because they don't seem to make a brown or grey or less "cocky rooster" color.
it is so brown and dark it is hardly noticable as camo really.

At least that cap looks like a quality product, for not much money.

I don't like protesters to block roads either, but I do think it shouldn't be more than a misdemeanor. It's still a peaceful protest. Didn't you support those truck-drivers in Canada blocking the roads for weeks on end? I didn't like their goals, mostly because they were nonsense, but I still supported their right to protest, also by blocking roads.
Would you have wanted them all arrested and jailed?
By phart at 24,Mar,23 14:07 other posts of phart
The truckers were not damaging anything.Simply stopped.Alot of the road blockers have bats and spray paint and set fires if you notice.
And the truckers were actually protesting a issue that prevented them from doing their jobs unless they submitted their bodies to a juice they didn't trust.A bit of difference in trying to solve a actual problem instead of taking to the streets for something miles away and not affect on yourself
By Ananas2xLekker at 26,Mar,23 12:37 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
We were not talking about damaging anything, but about blocking roads.
"I have no sympathy for a dumbass that blocks a interstate"

We have protests blocking highways too. First it was the farmers.
When we went on our vacation last year, the trip took 2 hours longer, because they blocked many highways on the route. They did minor damage here and there and left a lot of hay bales everywhere that needed to be cleaned up. But I consider that peaceful protesting and their right. Later they blocked the distribution centers of supermarkets. That caused some food shortages shortly, but I think that's allowed too. The supermarkets are part of the reason for farmers making almost no money.
More recently, Extinction Rebellion blocked a highway several times. It's the exact highway I need to go to work. In my case that results in just another home working day, so I don't care, but I'm sure many people were affected. But that was even more peaceful protesting, than what the farmers did, because nothing got damaged or left behind needing cleaning. Still, the cops came and pulled them all from the roads and took them to the police stations. There is a clear difference with how protesters are treated, depending on political ideas.

When BLM started with their protests, it was completely peaceful. The only ones using violence at that time were the cops. I understand that it escalated later and I don't condone that. But you think their cause is less worthy then those truckers who didn't want to get a shot? I cannot find the words to express my disgust.

However, our farmers stopped blocking roads, because they were listened too. They got involved in negotiations. There is now a new political party, called BBB (Boer Burger Beweging = Farmer Civillian Movement), which won the provincial election in ALL 12 provinces. The expropriations are now for sure off the table.
I'm mostly OK with that, but I want good alternatives, and quick too.
At least the farmers had a reason to be angry. They were being sacrificed for decades of government mismanagement. This could have been prevented with smart regulation, but the stupid right-wingers deregulated and dropped milk and meat quotas and let the food corporations to exploiting the farmers. Then farmers had no choice but to massively increase production at the detriment of the environment. Now it is a crisis, and the courts forced our government to act.
The win of BBB just makes acting very difficult now. The best solution now, is pumping in billions of tax-payer money to help farmers produce more environmentally friendly. In any case, our farmers are listened to. They already were, but now they are dominating the politics.

Were those truckers listened to? Yes, the vaccine mandate was dropped.
A million Americans and 51,800 Canadians died from Covid though.
But scared people like you keep blocking the best prevention. The stupid fear propaganda that you have been infected with, will cause more death and destruction, the next time vaccinations are necessary to protect the public from a deadly pandemic. And you will of course not learn from any of the stupid fear predictions not becoming reality.

And now the real question; was the BLM movement listened to? Are the cops now killing less unarmed black people? Are cops who kill without clear justification treated like suspects and independently investigated?

I support the BLM protests to go on, until their needs are addressed.
And I support Extinction Rebellion to keep protesting, until our government stops procrastinating and starts doing what is needed for the energy transition.
And if blocking highways will help, than I support the right to do it.

That's a good thing of having as much roads and hospitals like we have,
one blocked road is not going to affect access to hospitals that much.
We have 308 hospitals and 11 of them are specialized in acute care.
Besides that, we have trauma-helicopters too.

Yes, Extinction rebellion seems to really like superglue.
And pouring tomato soup over themselves like blood.
They try whatever gets them views in the media.
It's not their actions that result in anything,
it's reminding people about the issue.

What is really foolish is not recognizing the problems.
Or recognizing the problems, but not solving any of them.

"
even if Trump is indicted, convicting him or sending him to prison would be “challenging”, since the case against him “hinges on an untested and therefore risky legal theory involving a complex interplay of laws, all amounting to a low-level felony”. Such a conviction could result in a maximum prison sentence of four years."

A blind man could see that the entire purpose of this endevor is election interference.
If anyone with the resources could take the time to find out, it is all probably backed by George Soros.
By Ananas2xLekker at 21,Mar,23 21:00 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Maybe these laws are never tested by any presidential candidate before, because Trump really broke new ground, but the law is clear enough. There are mountains of evidence that Republicans were planning to overturning the election all along. This is clearly a conspiracy to overturn the election, most likely sedition and it could very well be treason, according the law. That is not a low-level felony. That used to be a firing squad offense.

If this does not turn out in a conviction, your system of law is dead.

But of course you project what Republicans did onto Democrats.
Funny, how you all keep thinking George Soros is behind everything.
He's poor compared to your average billionaire. He only has $ 6,7 billion.

If you like democracy, you should not want a precedent where either party can just claim that there was fraud and then try to just take the presidency after 60 lawsuits showed their claims were nonsense. If you really think the Democrats are as dangerous as you always say they are, what's to stop them to do the exact same thing? Better make sure that the constitution is respected now or in the future voting will become even less meaningful. It will just be the biggest fraudsters who will win, and you are crazy if you think that will be good for the Average American.
By phart at 21,Mar,23 22:40 other posts of phart
Well the way i look at it ,if i like democracy, I should not want precedent set where as a worn out porn star can willfully disgrace a man while he is running for office or filling it either with nothing but mere hearsay. No charges filed, no crime of prostitution or solicitation proven. And besides, other than people saying she was paid,is there any deposit slips? Withdrawals from accounts to show where the money came from or went?

Since when did our country get so low we give Creedance to people that have done nothing but fuck in front of a Kodak over a man that has brought jobs and revitalization to buildings and golf courses all over the world for decades that is trying to bring his talents to the Presidency?
By Ananas2xLekker at 22,Mar,23 08:08 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
"a worn out porn star can willfully disgrace a man"
He disgraced himself by fucking pornstars and models, while his wife was pregnant. But that's not the issue here. It's not even lying about it. Wasn't Bill Clinton impeached over lying about extramarital sex?
Still no reason for the law getting involved. Trump is in trouble with the law over it, because he used campaign money for hush money. That's against the law, adultery and lying about it isn't. If the law cannot prove it, Trump should go free for that discretion. If they can, he should be punished harder than Michael Cohen, who only executed what Trump asked of him. That's still not years in jail though.

They shouldn't just trust the word of a pornstar. This requires real evidence.
They had enough evidence to jail Michael Cohen....

Is there not one thought in your head saying; 'The Democrats didn't have this long of a list on Bush. Maybe where there is this much smoke, there might be some fire.'?
Or does your worshiping of that man make you that blind?

Still, I have no trust in Democrats actually holding Trump accountable.

And the Democrats are that smoke machine, I presume. Good analogy.
It's not smoke created by Democrats. The whole world could see Trump create
huge clouds of it, every single day, with his actions, in every Tweet
and every time he opened his mouth, live on stage.

Most of his crimes he has admitted to. Just playing recordings of what the man said himself is all the evidence a courtroom needs. However there is tons more of it.

However, to answer your whataboutism; Trump didn't just violate campaign funding laws in the case with Stormy Daniels. He has a record of 43 possible violations.
The FEC is just unable to do anything, because none of the agency’s three Republican commissioners have ever voted against Trump. They are protecting him, no matter what he does. They fully endorse his corruption.

Donald Trump's campaign raised more than $250 million after the November 2020 election as part of a purported effort to “Stop the Steal”. He didn't use any of that money to actually investigate any election fraud claims. He redirected that money to a 'Leadership PAC'. That's exactly the same as AOC's campaign did, or even worse, but with 250x more money.

How many here have Trump Derangement Syndrome? Speak up, woke or not does not matter.
By Ananas2xLekker at 02,Mar,23 11:07 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Eh, is there anyone here, who donated money for his supposed legal defense,
that he only used to enrich himself?
Anyone here, who attended the January 6 United States Capitol attack?
Anyone here, who still things he told the truth about the election?
Because that's what I would call 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'.

Or is it 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' to call him a fascist?

Looking at the definition I found, you probably say 'yes' on the last question:
"Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) is a pejorative term, usually for criticism or negative reactions to former United States president Donald Trump that are perceived to be irrational, and presumed to have little regard towards Trump's actual policy positions, or actions undertaken by his administration."
I'm 100% sure that you perceive my criticism or negative reactions to former United States president Donald Trump to be irrational, and consider it to have little regard towards Trump's actual policy positions, or actions undertaken by his administration.
So I'm sure you think I have 'TDS'.

However, calling Trump a 'fascist' is fully appropriate towards his actual policy positions and actions undertaken by his administration. And the guy socializes with Neo-nazis.

"until china bestowed the virus onto the world."
So Trump gets that excuse but Biden doesn't. Hypocrisy!

If Trump gets a pass for the economy dropping like a rock when Covid hit,
then why do you keep blaming Biden for the remaining issues?

The problems of high prices for food and gas were caused by the Covid pandemic.
Companies lots a lot of income and when the crisis was over, they went berserk on our asses to recover their lost profits. That was the start of inflation. The sanctions against Russia have increased energy and food prices. When ever Biden tried to alleviate the situation, Republicans vote against him, because they like your pain.

Your unemployment is better now then during the whole presidency of Trump, so even before 'china bestowed the virus onto the world'.
Biden is handling the deficit, that Trump created, by giving handouts to billionaires.
But it will take time to reduce the inflation, that Trump caused, by adding $7.8 trillion
to the debt. (I'm talking about the 50% that wasn't created by companies after the pandemic and the sanctions on Russia. And some of that spending was necessary,
but most of it was just another handout to the wealthy.)

Maybe you forgot, but Biden pulled you out of a war, Trump didn't.
That's 0 points for Trump, 1 point for Biden.

And Biden didn't get you into any new wars either. You're not at war, Ukraine is.
No Americans are dying in Ukraine. This war is a lot less expensive than your wars against terrorism, that Bush started. And the Ukraine war is actually damaging your biggest enemy. Russia will suffer from what they did for decades to come.
The war against Iraq and Afghanistan only managed to increase the influence of Muslim extremists/terrorists on the region. The costs of the 20-year war on terror:
$8 trillion and 900,000 deaths.
Sending some weapons to Ukraine and letting them do the fighting and dying,
is your most effective military spending against an enemy yet.

And now you have international support. That war Bush started in Iraq had no where near the support. Europe gave some consent and helped clean up the mess a bit,
but otherwise the US acted alone. In Ukraine, Europe is picking up a lot of the costs and Europe is spending money to arm itself with American made weapons again.
We all come running to daddy again and the US will benefit from it massively.
The US is declining, because of crony capitalism and extremism, and the only way
to keep afloat is with massive support from Europe, against China.

biden said during the debate he would stop the virus, not the economy .He failed .miserably. there are more variants now. Supply chain is still broken because people won't go back to work to make supply's.

You are naive as hell if you think we are not war.
Troops are not there but all our weapons are. most countrys that are sending supplys are noticing their stockpiles are dwindling. Again, because people won't go back to work to make the stuff.

I'm sure he tried, but he was obstructed by Republicans.
It's impossible to stop a virus, without harming the economy, especially when your dumb public doesn't accept vaccines. It's people like you who allowed those Covid variants to evolve. Every infection is a risk of a new variant and you did shit all to prevent that. And you blame Biden for your unwillingness to be responsible?
I'm fully or mostly immune now. My girlfriend had Covid two weeks ago and we are not wearing masks or keeping a distance. I relied on the vaccine and getting mild Covid once before. It didn't get it, unless a slight headache one evening was a symptom.

If you try to prevent the spread of a virus, the means of production will be affected.
If you just continue producing if nothing happened, people get sick and die, or their families get sick and die. And then they say 'fuck you' to their employers. I'm sure you want to force them to work, while you cry that Democrats were being authoritarians, but most people would rather burn their employers at the stake than die to protect their profits. And you are a cuck if you think otherwise.

What are you talking about that people will not go back to work?
There are and have been no Covid working restrictions for many months now.
The labor shortage is not related to Covid anymore. People just have found other jobs. If you fire people from their jobs, they are going to find something new. If they found something better, they are not coming back to an employer who fired them.
What your saying doesn't hold up to data. Unemployment is very low.
If an employer want to make 'stuff', they need to pay for it.
If that will make 'stuff' a bit more expensive, I'm OK with it.
You have problems with paying a bit more, because you are screwed by the same system who screwed them. Then stop supporting that system and start supporting a system that benefits all, including you.

We are not at war! Only Ukrainians are dying. Of course the cold war is fully alive again, but I grew up with the threat of being vaporized at a moments notice.
I'm used to it. Aren't you? In the US they showed those stupid 'duck and cover' propaganda films. They at least didn't show those in The Netherlands. We just had the hit from the band 'Doe Maar' with the song 'De bom'. The chorus is:
'Let it fall because, It will happen eventually, It doesn't matter if you run'

That really had an effect on me in my youth. It's actually a miracle that I was still motivated to work for my future. But I just thought; 'Fuck them, I'm going to live my life, assuming they are not that crazy.'. I will not let them control me with fear over something that is out of my hands. But, I'm damn-well going to use my vote and my voice to fight against the people who endangered my future. That does include people who keep worsening climate change. That does not include bowing down to horrible dictators, just because they have nukes. And if you do, you are a coward.
If you prefer to bow down in fear, that's on you.
Or do you just like bowing down to horrible dictators? You do like Trump!
I'm not asking one horrible dictator to save me from another.
Freedom is worth fighting and the risk of dying over, if it's actual freedom.

But, I'm talking to people who have no idea what freedom is.
It's not the right to carry guns or not being banned over the N-word.
It involves not needing a gun and not feeling an urge to say the N-word.

The bomb
Building a career (note 1)
Before the bomb falls
Working on my future
Before the bomb falls
I run through my agenda
Before the bomb falls
Safely in the health insurance fund
Before the bomb falls

And when the bomb falls
I lay in my tidy suit
Diploma's and my cheques in my pocket (note 2)
My insurance policy and my vocabulary
Under the apartment buildings of the city
Next to you

Let it fall because
It will happen eventually
It doesn't matter if you run
I've never known you
I want to know who you are
I want to know who you are

I'm assured of success, (note 3)
Against fire and for my life
I have everything but no time,
Not even for a little while
I have to think about my salary
And about my relationships
But I'd rather know who you are
Before it's too late

Because when the bomb falls
I lay in my tidy suit
Diploma's and my cheques in my pocket (note 2)
My insurance policy and my vocabulary
Under the apartment buildings of the city
Next to you

(2 times)
Let it fall because
It will happen eventually
It doesn't matter if you run
I've never known you
I want to know who you are
I want to know who you are

You still need to do homework (note 4)

What kind of BS is this? So you like a song, glad you like that crap.
By Ananas2xLekker at 09,Mar,23 17:51 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
That song shaped me, because it made me think.
Is that a strange concept to you?
By phart at 09,Mar,23 19:19 other posts of phart
"I want to know who you are"
Who I am has not got anything to do with who you are.
You are supposed to be concerned with YOURSELF first and then perhaps check on your nearest neighbor.
Those words are a mixed up riddle or something, makes no real sense.

You have said several times you are "Ok" with paying more taxes and paying more for stuff. Where the fuck do you get the money? Peoples wages have to go up to pay for the increased cost of items. My disability check does not go up,yet everything I buy has gone up. And people that think like you don't seem to see that as a problem.
By Ananas2xLekker at 11,Mar,23 18:07 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
That's how the lyrics translate. It might be a bit clearer if you understood Dutch.

The point is that the bomb could fall any moment, so he decides to get to know the one watching the video (because he's pointing at the one watching, but I think he means some girl), instead of putting all his time in building a career.

"You are supposed to be concerned with YOURSELF first"
Why? Who told you that? Is that your morality or Christian morality?
(Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered him, “If you wish to be perfect, go and sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.”)

Paying more in taxes and paying more for stuff is not the goal by itself.
Paying more in taxes would be the result I accept for reversing the privatization of important facilities and services representing a public necessity, like healthcare, power, tap-water and public transport. However, that results in paying way less at the point of use and actually saves money.
Paying more for stuff is the result I accept for increasing the minimum wage and the benefits of old and disabled people, less exploitation of poor countries and less pollution. Then more people can afford to buy food and stuff, even while the prices are a bit higher. If poor countries can develop themselves, then less people come looking for jobs in my overpopulated country. And less pollution is just necessary to save nature (and with it humanity) from collapse. The increase in consumption will strengthen the economy. That also increases tax income to invest in public necessities. Maybe I would pay a bit more for stuff, but I will be OK. The decrease in poverty will eventually benefit everyone, including me.
It will result in less crime, less drug addiction, less dependent people, less unhealthy people, less mental illness, less dumb people and more people who are able to maximize their potential. That doesn't only increase happiness and general well-being, it decreases costs to society too.

Do you call those 'blatant lies'? The ones that are fully not true or minor subjects and the on the more important subjects they are more exaggerations than lies.

However, I would never claim that Biden doesn't lie.
He just lies a lot less, about less important subjects.

Mostly, the overall message that Biden is conveying is still true,
while the message Trump is conveying is more often a total lie.

By tecsan at 10,Mar,23 04:18 other posts of tecsan
TNTC. I would not know where to begin. Remember, I think he said that he created a 'RECORD' millions of jobs (11-12 million). That was jobs that post-covid people were returning to. No mention of that simple fact by Mr Magoo.
By Ananas2xLekker at 10,Mar,23 16:09 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
"I think he said" Where did you get it from, FoxNews?
But your right that it is not fair to disregard Covid or wars or other crisis,
that just happen in the world and the president did not cause.
But y'all are doing that all the time, when blaming Biden for inflation and Ukraine.

The fact however is that Trump's taxcuts didn't do shit for the economy.
Well before anyone heard about Covid, the US was on it's way to a recession.
Meanwhile, Biden is investing in infrastructure and green energy.
That does provide a boost to the economy and creates jobs.

However, there is a limit of creating jobs. At a certain point, everyone who can and wants to work is working. The reality now is that there's a labor shortage.
The only way to increase your economy now is raising the wages of those working people, so they can spend more, will pay more taxes, and will be less dependent on help from the government. That will lower the deficit, improve the debt-to GDP ratio and will lower inflation.

Could you apply your reasoning to the other side Ananas2xLekker?
By Ananas2xLekker at 14,Mar,23 10:07 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Depends on what 'other side' you are referring to.
I don't apply reasoning to the side that just blindly believes everything
that their own side tells them, because that's not reasoning.
When the 'other side' is doing or saying something positive, I acknowledge that.

If you want to argue that Trump created jobs, then explain how.
Did his trade-war witch China cause those jobs? I saw it only creating mayhem.
Did his words against outsourcing create jobs? It just continued.
Did his tax-cuts create jobs? It created a huge deficit and stock buy-backs.
Did Trump canceling the TPP create jobs? What was better in the CPTPP?
Trump cut lots of regulation. What regulations were reducing job growth?
And when cutting regulations cause incidents like trains derailing and poisoning
of thousands of people, how much extra jobs would that be worth?

Investing in infrastructure and renewable energy creates lots of jobs.
But of course that's no good, because Biden did it.
Are you applying your reasoning to the other side?

Give it up, libtards are ALWAYS right, atleast in they're minds anyway.
By Ananas2xLekker at 20,Feb,23 08:38 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
When you don't have any arguments for your opinions, you are always wrong,
even when some of your opinions are correct.

It's like a math test; if you said 'x=5', without showing how you got there,
you still got 0 points, even when x was really 5.
By tecsan at 20,Feb,23 08:51 other posts of tecsan
I just said you are always right.
By Ananas2xLekker at 20,Feb,23 08:54 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Because I give arguments, I at least have the option of being right.
Because you don't, I am always more right, even if I'm not right.
By tecsan at 22,Feb,23 05:59 other posts of tecsan
Was that a fucking word salad or what?
By Ananas2xLekker at 22,Feb,23 11:19 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
It's not word salad, just because you don't understand it.

To go back to math:
You just say 'x=5', without showing how you got there. (your lacking arguments)
Even when the answer is correct, you get 0 points for that.
The teacher will say; "We are not doing guessing here!".

I do use arguments to substantiate my opinions. I present my thinking process leading up to the answer, and I show how it is supported by verifiable facts, data
and logical argumentation. I also point at logical fallacies that others use.
Those are like the steps leading up to an answer in that math test.
Even when I say incorrectly 'x=3', I'll get points for every correct step before it.
I might get up to 8 points, even for an incorrect final answer.
Then the teacher will put a circle round the step where I made a mistake.

Now we are in an argument about a math test, where I say 'x=7' and you say 'x=8'. You want everyone to trust you on the answer, by just calling me wrong.
Meanwhile, I'm showing my steps leading up to my answer and pointing at the chapter in the math-book that explains your mistake.
Who should people trust to have the correct answer to this math test?
By tecsan at 23,Feb,23 05:28 other posts of tecsan
Of course everything a person with common sense says is a logical fallacy to you, right? And no one should ever trust a socialist with all their BS. Come on you would do anything to prove you are right when you know you are wrong. I however; do not really care what you think because you are two faced.
By Ananas2xLekker at 23,Feb,23 12:46 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Common sense doesn't exist. People disagree on literally everything.
What is common sense, when there are people who are absolutely sure
that the earth is flat?

And even if there was some common sense, how can you use it as an argument?
Telling a flat earther that it's common sense that the earth is spherical,
will not convince them. Neither will the common sense argument convince anyone.

I can tell you that it's common sense to have single payer healthcare.
Does that convince you?

If I can prove I'm right, then I am. What else is proof?

But do explain why you think I'm 'two faced'. Have I claimed anything different
to you in the private chat, than I've claimed in the topics?
By tecsan at 24,Feb,23 06:56 other posts of tecsan
And if you cannot? Think about your last question. What do you believe in etc?
By Ananas2xLekker at 02,Mar,23 11:29 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Two-faced: Someone who is two-faced is not sincere, saying unpleasant things about you to other people while seeming to be pleasant when they are with you.

Do you have reason to say that I say unpleasant things about you to other people, while seeming to be pleasant when they are with you? I think I'm just as blunt to you in person as I am in public. I might even be more of a dick to you sometimes in person. I only do it when I think it's called for and I don't mind you being a dick to me back. I think you even like it that way. Or would you like us to tone it down a bit?

Liar, Liar Network On Fire: The Legal Case Against Fox News
The Problem With Jon Stewart Podcast:
only registered users can see external links

There has never been such a clear case of 'Actual Malice' before, in media law cases.
According to the law professor, this case would be too easy to use as a test example
for law students to argue if the laws describing 'Actual Malice' are applicable to the
example's case.

There is first person communication evidence, where Fox'News' executives, staff and hosts are explicitly stating, that they know Trump is lying, and where they called everyone who pushed that lie fucking crazy and dangerous, but that they had to help Trump spread it, because Fox'News' is dependent on viewers who want to hear that lie and they don't want them to go to OAN, Newsmax and other competitors, who were spreading that lie with even more enthusiasm.

And that was just the evidence that was so far permitted in court. Fox'News' successfully litigated against other evidence being fully available to law professors and such, because it makes their 'journalists' look bad. So there are whole pieces blacked out, with just a lawyer's remark under it, stating that it's even more explicit evidence for 'Actual Malice'.
