Had mine done a little while now. Forskin would split every time I got hard unlesss it was pulled back defore and it was becoming scared quite a bit.
My knob looks a bit fraken stine under the head but no pain.
Happy it was done
I was circumcised a couple of years ago when I was 72. Worst decision of my life. Wish I hadn't had it done. Trying now to restore it by stretching whats left of my foreskin.
I was circumcised at the age of 55 for purely cosmetic reasons, having considered having it done since being a teenager.
I'm very, very happy with the result, but I'm also very glad that it was my choice to have it done, rather than than my parents making that decision when I was younger. My body, my choice.
Interesting that you mention choice. I was lucky in that my parents gave me the choice when I was 16.
My Father was circumcised but when I was born my parents decided to wait until I was older so we could talk it over and then I could decide. I remember when young (8 or 9 years old) I asked why mine was different from my Fathers and other boys and men I had seen who were circumcised. My mother explained that some men and boys had their foreskins removed when young for different reasons be that medical, religious or family tradition.
then, when I was 16 my parents and I sat down and they explained that if I wanted to get circumcised I could if I wanted to. They offered to take me to a specialist doctor, he could examine me and then we could all discuss the options and I could make the decision myself.
I was interested to find out more so my parents and I went to see the specialist. He examined me, checked the coverage and movement, checked to see if it was too tight (both soft and hard), he looked at the Frenulum and asked questions about if I had ever had any irritation or infection under the foreskin. My parents were present during the examination then afterwards I got my clothes back on and we discussed it.
The doctor said that my foreskin functioned normally and that if I wanted to get circumcised I could but there was no pressing need. So I took a few days to think it over and then decided to keep my foreskin. I think my father would have liked me to get done but he and my mother put no pressure on me. I often see men who are cut and about my size and think that's what mine would have looked like if I had it done. But no regrets... other than the odd zipper catch
That must have been kind of embarrassing having the doctor do that right in front of your parents although I remember my cousin who is uncut when he was young and being given a bath as soon as someone pulled that skin back he would immediately get hard. Mine was cut and I remember being fascinated that he had that extra skin that needed to be pulled back!
I have. I do not recommend it unless is for medical reasons

Sex is off limits for one month according the the specialist that would be doing mine. From what I’ve read from his patients the surgery itself is not a big deal..kinda sounds like gentle surgeon equals low pain levels. Exercise etc can be started next day, I think it’s just the wound itself that has to heal
It sounds as though you've done your research on this matter so my previous comment was pretty superfluous. But I thought I'd put it out there. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Like most American men born since about 1920 I was circumcised as an infant. Unlike so many who were also cut in infancy, I'm not complaining. I like being circumcised.
On to your question. Obviously I do not have personal experience, but many years ago I had an intimate encounter with a gentleman who had had the surgery done as an adult. He had it done purely cosmetic reasons as he preferred circumcised penises and that's what he wanted for himself. I was his first sexual encounter after a six week recovery period after the surgery. Needless to say, he was raring to go. Something you might want to discuss with your urologist and/or surgeon is how long your own recovery period might be. Would it be six weeks? Could you wait that long for sex?

Ask jeffinKS, a site lump, how you can use calamari to restore your foreskin!

It is good that your cousin was cleaning under the foreskin.
