You seem to feel like you are well qualified to judge everything as WRONG and dumb and illegal and God only knows what else, but then,when cornered you shiver and say, All you can do is wait for midterms.
That's 1 thing of a 1000 more you can do. We can all do that that give a damn enough to vote and at least make some effort to do right.
But why not type out something like, what is YOUR idea to fix the immigration problem?

why not take a little time like myself and Ananas do and actually discuss possible solutions? I can't agree with his ideas but at least he presents something from HIS OWN BRAIN instead of a copy paste.
I have often wondered if to qualify to vote perhaps there needs to be a basic Intelligence test. Something along the lines of "can you read and hear and understand english? can you understand basic economics? and etc. To make sure IDIOTS aren't fucking up our country

Yes, I can demonstrate, write letters to editors, post here and other places, but, the real work has to be done, en mass, by people that have the power, hopefully in agreement with my views. Right now there’s no such group. The Congress is controlled by the Republicans and they follow the Clown without question. So, maybe you are right and I’m just superfluous.
Now, I gather that you believe what many have said here that I don’t know anything. That all I can do is copy/paste other people’s thoughts and opinions. Fair enough. Maybe I’m an idiot with a thumb, but, I know that what I post is the truth. It doesn’t matter if I came up with it or someone else did.
Here, for the record, are my opinions formed by what I see. The price of beef is obscene. In the last 11 months steak prices doubled. It started because of Trump tariffs making imported beef more expensive. I saw this. Not NBC or the New York Times or any one else. Electricity is up at least 10%. Not saying it because I copy/pasted. I say it because I pay every month.
You want to know what I think about the problem of illegal aliens? I think it’s a distraction to keep uninformed a,,holes voting for a Republican Clown. As long as they are kept stupid they won’t know how ignorant their president is. I believe that the best way to handle the problem of illegals is to get them temporary visas and then create a whole department of judges that handle nothing but this. I believe we have to quadruple the number of judges for this. These judges should be concentrated in the southwest part of the country. I believe that the process should be legal and enforcement should be swift. Perhaps establish a government run airline.
Okay. Let me start with healthcare. I believe that doctors should be regulated to keep their income lower. It’s indecent that people are dying while they vacation in Europe. I also want pharmaceutical companies to not be able to hold a patent for more than ten years. After that, competition would be able to produce similar products at a lower cost. But, the biggest issue, in my opinion, is that they use us to subsidize the cost of meds in other countries. They should be forced to charge for medicines what they charge in foreign countries.
I believe that tariffs are a tax on US, the American consumer. Any idiot with a two year college degree in economics can tell you that, but, that idiot that is our Prez, the great businessman that bankrupted a casino and five other companies, doesn’t know shit about economics.
As far as voting rights I believe that everyone that is a citizen of this country should be allowed to vote. If a case can be made that a person is not competent by qualified medical professionals or if the person is a lawbreaker, then, they should be excluded. There should be NO OTHER REASON to keep a citizen from voting.
Okay, Phart, I given you my thoughts and, frankly, I don’t see why it matters that I did or went to Google and copy/pasted something that mirrors my take on things.
Now, I’m going to flip this conversation. Why is it that you take umbrage with my lack of personal information about my opinions yet, you never tell us how YOU would try to resolve these problems.
BTW, I was a Girl Scout troop leader. I was on call, on campus, during hurricanes for twenty years working at Baptist Hospital. Until 2019 I was a volunteer beach cleaner every year. I participated in toy drives for vets at Christmas. I always donate to the homeless (when I have change). I’m a good neighbor. I keep my home neat and clean and I have helped neighbors who were in need, especially if they had children. So, please, don’t make it sound like I don’t care.
Unless they are REALLY smart and got full scholarships, their education is very expensive both in money and time, 7 years I think of their lives invested to become a dr, and you don't want them to earn any more than the janitor?

I will go as far as agreeing with you on the patent thing. I will extend that to ALL patents. No need for Ford to make money off parts reproduced for their products over 10 years old if they don't supply them. No need for a medicine maker to hold control of a formula for over 10 years and etc.
Where did anyone say there is a issue with a citizen voting? except me saying maby they need to pass a test first to make sure they are able to make intelligent choices.
I am a good neighbor and serve the community in a elected position and a volunteer position that requires alot of training to fill requirements. I help veterans in person, not thru these money grabbers that give a dime of every dollar donated to a vet after they allow them to use their story on tv .
Now, we’re paying for the mess they’ve been making since 1967, when the radical left took over the Democrat party.

There’s no such thing as a radical left. Just the left.
Your side are the ones that brought The Tea Party in 2007. This movement morphed into Trumpism and MAGA. EXTREME FAR RIGHT REPUBLICANS. I suppose you are going to bring up Obama and Biden. Both were fairly middle of the road democrats. And, let me remind you that for big portions of those administrations the Congress was either under the Republican contraorden split down the middle. The last three wars were started by Republican presidents. The last big disaster of the economy started during a Republican president. And now? Biden left the Clown in a fairly good place. It wasn’t perfect but, with a little work it could have been a really good economy. What did we get? Well, I don’t think you are blind.
However, what I or you or anyone has done in the past, the present is what counts.
Please, tell us what great things or designs has the current president done or plans to keep a big chunk of the electorate from starving.

You should note that I will not describe these people and their destructive political beliefs as being liberal, for they are anything but that. They have become the diametric opposite of everything liberalism once represented.
I once leaned Liberal, but my eyes have been opened to their true nature, due to a myriad of events over the past twenty-five years perpetrated by supporters of Leftist ideology, which includes a recent highly public murder. Why haven’t your eyes been opened? Why do you refuse to see?
How can you not see how the radicals in the Left have taken the word “liberal,” which once meant progress, tolerance, and enlightenment, and how they have now mutated it into something else, something dark and twisted, something that no longer means liberalism.
They have molded it into a malformed and ugly parody of itself.
The Left have stripped the humanity out of classic liberalism and replaced it with politicized cancellation and censorship. They have pushed for a hive-mind mentality, in which no deviation is tolerated, and all opinions must meet their nebulous standards.
They are for the suppression of diversity of thought and ideology and for the suppression of true free speech. They maintain a system of rigid two-dimensional thought on every subject, no matter how trivial, and they now practice overt political, social, economic, psychological, and physical bullying.
The diversity they advocate is no longer true diversity, as it is based solely on appearances, rather than on ideology or thought. There is no diversity of the minds in the Left. It has been purged and replaced by an unforgiving dictatorship of forced conformity, a rigidity of thought and of ideology.
Control matters more than anything else now. It’s no longer, “do what you will.” It has become, “Do as we tell you.” There is no free will in their minds, unless it meets prior approval from the current arbiter of the ideology of the day.
And anyone who is perceived as being divergent, no matter how slight or minor in thoughts or actions, is made into a pariah, an outcast, to be shunned and threatened not only with cancellation, censorship, or suppression, but now, with physical violence and death.
When the shooting starts anymore, it always comes from the Left these days. The same is true for the personal attacks, name calling, and dehumanization perpetrated by a people who cannot support their ideology, except with violence and the threat of violence.
Anyone openly supporting or advocating for, or denying the existence of, or who makes excuses for, or who assigns blame to the other side for, or who patently ignores what has become perhaps the most anti-human political movement since the creation of Soviet Union and all its offspring and descendants, and yes, even since the rise of Nazi Germany, is either an evil shill, a self-serving and self-righteous elitist, or one of their many useful idiots. No matter which one, they are the destroyers of reason, decency, and sensibility, or of anything else, for that matter, that makes us truly diverse individuals as humans.
These people are not Liberals, not in the at least, and most certainly not in the classic sense. They’re bullies. They’re bastards. They’re the micromanagers of life and human behavior. They’re The Destroyers. They’re the tramplers of human rights and of human dignity. They are the crushers of spirit and the purveyors of ignorance.
They are the Radical Left.
