The McCrispy Italian looks good. If my girlfriend wouldn't get violently sick from eating
at McDonald's, we would have probably tried it already. There is soy in almost all their food.
I'm not going alone.
The McCrispy Italian might be offered in the McDonald’s in the Netherlands but it was not on the menu board in October in the restaurant in my city in Michigan nor is it currently offered in the restaurant 2 miles away, in southern Florida.
I did Google the McCrispy Italian and found this;
“Known as a summer menu item or limited-time promotional offering in various international markets, including Italy”.
The original poster indicates that he’s an American so unless on vacation and out of the country; the McCrispy Italian will only be a “dream”.
OK, I didn't know it was local. It will probably stay a 'dream' to all of us.
Would they call it the McCrispy Italian in Italy?
If you want to irritate Italians, you claim that some non-Italian food is Italian.
There is a program on Dutch TV that investigate food and other consumer products.
They regularly investigate a product that is supposed to be Italian, like some packaged pasta Carbonara mix. Then they go to Italy to compared it to the real thing. It's always fun to see how it disgusts them and fills them with pity for what we are eating.
"Why would you do this, it is so easy to make yourself! Please, let me teach you!".
My ex is from Italy and would absolutely loathe the idea of anyone calling anything from McDonalds Italian cuisine. McDonalds can hardly be cuisine at all. Overpriced, and just gross as far as the taste and quality.
I have to agree with Mongo, if I am hungry for noon meal,I get a 20 piece to go and eat half at noon and half at supper.
I figured out by accident 1 day that the mcrib is nothing but the same piece of meat that is in the Banquet brand of tv dinner with "barbecue" google and compare. same flavor even as I bought 1 of each and ate them at the same meal and confirmed.
I’ve always found the McRib to be absolutely disgusting and McDonald’s overall is pretty much the same. There’s a on location McDonalds where I work along with Starbucks. Often times if I’m busy and hungry I would get McDonalds and they give a lot of free crap. I usually will get a Powerade as I don’t drink caffeine really. The only thing I can tolerate is the nuggets if they are fresh. Sometimes a cheeseburger with out the onions. Then if I eat one I feel like crap for days. Just upsets my stomach.
Primarily, the only thing I consider buying from McDonald’s is; coffee, unsweetened iced tea and every so often, their Filet-O-Fish. If I want a Filet-O-Fish, I always request that they “cook to order”. That’s the term they use and understand as being that they cook it fresh. The Filet-O-Fish is so yummy when it’s hot and fresh!
Mongo partial to Chickens nuggies and apple pies. Charlie step daddy Diabeto have no legs and looks like chicken nuggies being dunked in sauce. Mongo also like sweet sour sauce. Mongo make sauce girlfriend.

So, try it, and tell me how good it was.

When I was a kid I loved it.
