As for censoring genitalia, here's the thing: perhaps the extremity of Japanese porn is very much related to the censoring of genitalia; they probably go to extremes to compensate for the stupidity of censoring. But this is a more general principle in our societies: wherever you find censoring, prohibition, restrictions, you find rampant abuse of them. There is dr_ug abuse because people are not allowed to make their own choices. There is alcohol abuse in Scandinavia because they are not allowed to buy alcohol anywhere they like. There is a ridiculous amount of prostitution and trafficking in Muslim countries [e.g., Dubai], because prostitution is ille_gal. The difficult thing is to educate people so that they (the majority of them) do not do things that go against them. The easiest thing is to have laws, prohibition, restriction, censoring. This is true for genitalia censoring as well as censoring of any kind. (In Iran, they tell me, almost every home has a distillery; because alcohol is ille_gal.) Or, take for instance, the catholic priests. They were fucking chi_ldren for ages, precisely because they declared themselves moral. I bet if those priests were sent to an ordinary prison they would be raped or killed by other prisoners.
