It's full of conspiracy theories and lies.
If you see in the near future (between 6 months and a year) that the conspiracy theories were not true and we will actually go back to what was normal before Covid, will you learn from that?

We live in a world full of conspiracy theories. Each segment that believes in these conspiracies works hard to defend these views. I'm not saying that some of these theories may not come true or that it may be disproved. I can only live my future as it happens. What I do know is that these conspiracies (for lack of a better word)usually come to the public with little or no factual support and, sometimes, with down right LIES. Some presentations are well done but they are so bias towards the argument that it's hard to take them seriously. I believe that this country (and this includes everything that happens in it) rides on rails like a train. Once in a while we get derailed but, soon, we are chugging forward to that never reaching destination. This pandemic and this aberration in our politics will disappear in time. Soon, hopefully, we'll be going full speed back to the greatness of this country.

I've seen the whole video. There is one great truth in it:

The only thing a government needs, to turn people into slaves is fear.
If you can figure out something to make them scared,
you can get them to do anything you want."

And then they are trying to put FEAR in you, for a shitload of topics,
probably hoping one will stick.

ARE YOU THIS GULLIBLE?
By bella! at 13,Feb,21 12:54 other posts of bella!
I'm not gullible and that's why I don't understand or agree with our government imposing the restrictions that began in March, 2020 and are still ongoing.

And just so you know where I stand, I believe that there was foreign interference in our November 2020 Presidential Election.
By phart at 13,Feb,21 15:28 other posts of phart
I can't prove if there was interference.BUT There are people out there that COULD,if they gave a damn.
This video,if it serves no other purpose, should get people thinking out side of the box as far as what is or may be going on.

There was no interference needed for the republicans to loose. Every single poll, from liberal and right wing polling organizations, predicted Trump was going to loose, months before. Trump was preparing all his followers by saying if we loose there was fraud. It will only be a fair election if we win.
If than after the election your claims of fraud or ridiculously easy to disprove, the whole republican organization is doing their absolute best to find anything and you still loose all but one of 60 lawsuits, that do not even try to prove fraud, than I just say you're full of shit.

Either democrats are masters of fraud or republicans are pathetically incompetent or there was no fraud.

No one can prove anything they read on the Internet and hear on the news stations, you all believe what suits you, I stay out of politics and don't believe anything I here until it happens, don't stress yourselves out, just live your lives the best you can and you all will be fine.

So do you worry about 5G?
And did you worry about 4G and 3G and the Wifi in your home?

Half of Israel has been vaccinated and 14 million people in the UK.
Have you heard of significant health problems?

I do share some worries about the following topics:
Authoritarianism
Surveillance
Robotization

So does this video propose any solutions?
No, because that was not the purpose of this video.
It's purpose was FEAR!
By phart at 12,Feb,21 23:58 other posts of phart
I have not read much about 5g but being involved in electricty and electronics for most of my life in 1 way or another I can say, just the basic emfs that surround us can not be good for us.It has been said that cell phone tech has had a terriable effect on honey bees for example.something we need.it affects their guidance

Robots, you better read about Japans advances in robotics.
They have a growing elderly population and are looking at robotics to help take care of them and replace workers.
Is it a problem?Yep,people are getting to lazy to work, and to sorry to take care of their familys.

go back to about 15 minutes or so into that vid where Bill gates is going "UM uh oh uh um" and that will more than likely be the reply you will get with alot of fluff added
By Ananas2xLekker at 13,Feb,21 16:29 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Why has Bill Gates been made the face of Covid vaccines? He's just a smart guy who played the system hard, made a lot of money and now tries to absolve himself for never caring about people, by doing charity. I do think he cares somewhat about the problems in the world, but he cares the most about the admiration he gets for it.
He does fund research for vaccines, but he obviously doesn't know a whole lot about it. You're not a virologist as soon as you give some money to some pharma research companies.

Many people have concerns about the speed at which the pharma companies developed and produced the vaccines. I get that, and I do have some concerns. They had to rush it, because millions of people are dying. However, I know about the tests that were done and that's good enough for me. They didn't listen to Trump when he tried to hurry the process.

Do you deny that vaccines have played a role in eradicating deceases?
Would you want to forbid vaccines? What actually is your opinion on the subject?
Is it just that you don't want the government to force you to take it? What sort of world do you think we would live in, if people would never be forced to do anything, even if it's for the benefit of everyone? I know you believe in forcing people on a lot of other subjects, especially working to survive. Why not force them to get a shot and take some risk, to survive? If you are a patriot, you get that shot, for all the American families who are suffering right now.

When I get my shot, many millions of people will have preceded me. Those people all had weaker health than me, because that's why they get priority. I will hear from those people how they dealt with the vaccine and then I know if it's safe (enough).
I know enough about the vaccines to not worry about long term effects.
I know some people had short term effects, sometimes severe. However, the risk that I will take, when being vaccinated is lower than stepping in my car and going to work. For what I know already, I would take the shot, if I got an invitation tomorrow, but I'm sure in a few months I would feel even more confident.

I do have an opinion on almost everything and there's always logic and principles behind it. There will be a time that most uneducated work will be obsolete, because of automation and less jobs will be needed overall. The only way to not let part of people starve to death is pay more for less work, educate people better and take care of the people who are not smart enough to do the work that is left.
If you don't want to pay lazy people, are you going to provide meaningless work, just to pay them for something?
Or will you just let them starve?

Uh,all I politely ask,is if there is some evidence of this claim we will return to normal? All of us on EARTH would like to see this evidence.
By Ananas2xLekker at 13,Feb,21 17:15 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
"Is there some evidence of this claim we will return to normal?"
That is a difficult, but actually very good question.

I am not even sure if we will actually truly beat Covid completely. However, when enough people are vaccinated, we will have to deal with the disease differently. I think the chances are good that we don't have to keep our distance anymore, that restrictions on all jobs are lifted and we can have social lives like before the pandemic. If that part of normal life returns, I think struggling businesses will then soon be back on their feet.
I don't want everything back to normal. My managers have seen how well we perform while working from home. I have heard they will allow that after this crisis, much more than before. I would like it if we would be allowed to work from home at least 2 days a week.

Other than that, I don't think that normal was all that perfect. We saw who are doing the 'essential jobs'. They received a lot of praise and applause. I don't want them to return to normal, which was working very hard, without making enough money to live on.
That's why I support raising the minimum wage to Ђ14/hr.
By phart at 13,Feb,21 18:31 other posts of phart
before the plandemic,we were able to change our normal easier the way i see it.
Alot of bussiness's are gone, never to get back on their feet already.
Work to survive, you make that sound bad. Why would you want people laying around doing nothing earning nearly what you earn working? What would be their motivation to live, improve? None.
What I read recently basically said we never got over the 1918 flu. It's strains can still be found in our current flu virus's.
What is so great about working at home? Not asking to be a jurk, just can't comprehend how you can do much of anything besides maby book keep or online sales or something.Boring work,no social interation, nothing.Sounds like a fast trac to depression.
By Ananas2xLekker at 13,Feb,21 23:28 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Working from home saves me 1.5 to 2 hours a day in traffic. I already work in an office most of the time and there are days I don't have to leave my desk once. Most socializing is during breaks. Everyone is very busy, so I would normally spend 5-10 minutes just talking to colleagues. I think two days a week in the office for meetings and socializing would be enough for me to prevent depression.

We already communicated with Skype a lot, because we have several buildings and walking to production will take at least 20 minutes. Normally when I had ordered something for my colleagues I would drop it off or assemble it for them, now I have to ask them to do it themselves. If there is a safety issue, I like to do investigation on site. Now I do interviews and ask for pictures. After Covid I could plan that for the days I am at work.
Most creative work, like researching solutions to problems, designing and drawing equipment is done behind a desk. Other work is searching suppliers or contractors, requesting quotations, writing product requirements document, test protocols, reports and procedures, data analysis, excel work, work permits and lots of mailing to organize everything. I do like being more directly involved, but because of Covid,
I have to delegate that to technical staff at the moment.

My commute to work was 30 miles each way 5 days+ a week. Not much traffic to drive in,straight old country numbered route. But my job was in traffic all day as well.Heavy traffic.I was not in the office but maby a hour or 2 at the most per day for record keeping.I had a outdoor job, alot of responseabilty, very dangerous, kinda why I am retired early.
By Ananas2xLekker at 15,Feb,21 17:30 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
For the last 20 years my commute also has been 30 miles each way. When I did the shifts, I only had traffic after the day shift and after the night shift. For that I needed to be at location, no matter the weather. Documentation was part of the job, but the reason was the process. It was mostly light work, clean and safe. However after 9 years I was ready for a next step and I think this job is rewarding enough to make it to retirement. However the organization is always in motion and self development is a big goal in my company. For now, I like being a generalist, but I have done courses on safety and design and I would like to do more projects on that.

If your job was that dangerous you might have made a smart decision to retire early, if it could have killed you. Even in my cushy job, I once took a jolt of 400V. Under other circumstances that could have killed me. It was my own fault, I neglected some safety procedures, because of time restraint. It was a good lesson and part of the reason for my specialization in safety. Another reason is making sure that everyone can stay alive and healthy until retirement. Still, it's also just interesting and rewarding work.
By phart at 15,Feb,21 20:22 other posts of phart
I was about killed on the job and was retired on disablity.

That's horrible. Even though we fight a lot here, I'm glad you lived
and hope you're enjoying your life again.
Was it due to employer negligence or was it just a freak accident?

Now I might start annoying you again, but many people (especially on the right) are in favor of deregulation. If they are also talking about deregulation on safety, that's mostly only helping your employers, while risking the life and health of employees.

In the US, in 2019, 5,333 workers died on the job. It was 5,250 in 2018. That's 58% more than the EU-27 ( 3,332 in 2018 ), while the EU-27 has about 100 million more working people and it incorporates countries like Romania, Latvia and Bulgaria.

Please do not take this as a USA sucks, Europe is great comment,
just understand that American workers are being taken advantage of.
By phart at 17,Feb,21 17:15 other posts of phart
basicaly ,yes,a budget cut changed the way the job was done, and the accident happened.
By Ananas2xLekker at 18,Feb,21 08:23 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Than that leads to questions like:
- Did it lead to an investigation from the U.S. Department of Labor?
- Did the company violate regulations?
- Did the company (have to) pay compensation?
- Did the company get fined?
- Did the company fight in court to minimize their liability?
- Did the company roll back the changes in the way the job was done?
- How much risk is left for re-occurrence?
- Did the company promise to do better on safety in the future?

You don't have to answer, but that's what I think is important to make sure that your tragedy is not followed by others.

I had to think about your posts overnight before I responded further.

Although each of our 50 states had imposed different restrictions, since mid March, children, people and businesses in Michigan have been largely restricted. Did your life change in the Netherlands, did your country not have restrictions?

This is totally my opinion, I am not well read or knowledgeable about other countries around the world, however, I doubt that your friend from the Netherlands is riding a bicycle because of restrictions imposed by his government. My guess is that it is his choice to ride a bicycle because of his environmental point of view.

Bikes are popular here, because there is almost no free car parking anymore and parking garages are ridiculously expensive.
The Netherlands is fifth of the most densely populated countries, with more than 10 million inhabitants, in the world. Because of traffic in the city, a bike is often faster than a car and you can place it almost anywhere, for free or cheap in a guarded garage.
Most people have a car, but for short distances (which it often is, because it's a small country) we use a bike. It's also free exercise for us.

Restrictions on cars? You can say that, because fuel is much more expensive here.

It might also be true that not many people get their drivers license at 18. I was 23.
The theory exam is very difficult and driving lessons are expensive. You need a lot of lessons before you can drive in heavy traffic, in complex situations, with bikes and pedestrians everywhere and lots of road signs. My lessons and exams where in Rotterdam, for which you can add some road rage from fellow road users. It took me some 40 lessons and two practical exams. That's about average.

At the moment we have the most strict restrictions of the whole Covid pandemic. Restaurants are closed, most shops are closed, masks are mandatory in supermarkets and in public transport and we have a curfew from 21:00 till 04:30.
There is aid for businesses to pay the salaries of their employees, so they don't have to fire them. Still, many businesses that had just started before Covid, do not get help or hardly any. There is also a problem for independent entrepreneurs. They get unemployment benefits, but not if their spouse makes too much money. There are a lot of people hurting and we find groups that have been forgotten all the time. Everyone hopes most businesses can keep it up a little bit longer. We are trying to keep away the British Covid version.

You're so fucking dumb I can't believe it... To a moron Left winger,,, conspiracy theory means "you're right but I don't want to hear it."
By Ananas2xLekker at 13,Feb,21 21:18 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
No, you are the moron, because that is not the meaning. That's what it might mean TO YOU, because you are prone to believe in many conspiracy theories. But that's not what it actually means. It means that you believe that behind any logically explainable event there is actually a dark secret plan made by powerful people, but you have no evidence or there is even overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Constantly seeing conspiracy theories is actually a symptom of the mental disorder called schizophrenia.

Of course there are many actual dark secret plans made by powerful people, which they will call conspiracy theories when they get discovered. Most of the time these actual conspiracies get discovered by tireless journalists or hackers and your government hunts them down with a passion, from both parties. I'm talking about people like Bradley Manning, Edward Snowden and Julian Assange. Then you know powerful people were up to no good and are protecting themselves.
By #592419 at 13,Feb,21 21:33

Hey, you do not care and that's not surprising! Other than the United States, what are YOU passionate about, what do YOU care about? Do you care about anything in your own "backyard" other than your home, your red car and your well endowed girlfriend?
By Ananas2xLekker at 15,Feb,21 15:15 other posts of Ananas2xLekker
Of course, I care about a lot of things. I was even interested in the JFK murder at some point, but there's not going to be any new information or closure on that topic. The murders are interesting mysteries, but unless someone had new evidence, the topics are a bit stale to me. Still, "Who cares" was a bit of an unconsidered reply.

My own "backyard" will not be of much interest here, because this site is mostly populated by Americans. There is a lot happening in The Netherlands too and I have opinions about that, which I post on Dutch channels all the time. Somehow that audience is a bit more receptive.

I'm however following US developments a lot too, because there's so much more offered. There's many YouTube channels with a diverse range of political views.
I have been engaged in the discussion there for years now too.

Ive been a member of this site for years, but I didn't join for political discussions.
I only joined those discussions, when I got triggered by the disconnect with facts and logic. I was really surprised by the overwhelming majority of right-wingers on a site for dickpics, which "May serve as a gay/bi dating also.". I know this not corresponding with the varied opinions of the electorate.

I actually like to challenge my opinions with opposing views. In normal times my colleagues were willing participants. Don't think they are all lefties, because it's The Netherlands. My best colleague is actually very right wing and also very smart. He's almost never wrong on the facts, he just has other opinions. It's hard to win an argument on social benefits from someone who says: "You know I do not care a lot about other people, especially poor people." or win an argument on climate change from someone who is honestly saying "I will be alright and you too." or "That's why we don't want kids." or "Yes, we will fuck up the planet, but maybe it's better humanity goes extinct, so nature can recover.". However, I see a challenge with an argument that's full of holes or worse.

Insurance, retirement, paid vacation, are all supposed to be incentives to take a job with a company and STAY until you retire.
To many people move from job to job and it cost employers millions over the years in money lost investing in training, lost productivity and so on.
You want something,WORK FOR IT. Disablity pension was 1 of many of the benifits my job offered and sadly I am on it now. sick days,I had plenty, vacation days,I had plenty, when I was retired,I was paid over 5000 dollars for the unused leave I had aquired.Edit,it was almost 10,000,checked the check stub!edit Parental leave, wouldn't be quite the issue it is now if people got married, stayed married and the wife took care of the children as the man provided for the home.Traditions had reasoning and logic behind them. When you defy logic, you have consiquences.

"Insurance, retirement, paid vacation, are all supposed to be incentives to take a job with a company and STAY until you retire." That's absolutely true.
The companies want loyal employees, even if the employees would be better off changing their employer. What incentives are there for companies to be loyal to their employee(s), when the employer would be better off changing their employee(s)?
Or is it just a one way street?
By phart at 18,Feb,21 13:43 other posts of phart
It is a 1 way street in a right to work state such as I live in.
You go to work and you do your job,you are given what is earned. And years later the retirement you built up pays you. The incentive of a employer to keep you is to provide quality work and be on time, and do the job safely.

Thank you for posting Bella! I've been aware of our situation for some time. Judging by some of the responses, it would seem that many or possibly most humans have failed to learn critical thinking skills. It's so easy for them to simply call anyone that disagrees with their viewpoint a "conspiracy theorist". Then they can feel good about themselves and return to watching their heroes read from a teleprompter on the nightly news, sucking up the "facts",..... hook, line, and sinker.

Hey, phart, my guess about WFA, World Freedom Alliance, is it is a just like any movement with chapters all over the world, this happens to be in Europe.

I had watched another vid a few months ago about the reset and parts of it was in this video.
All I can say is WOW,it is about time someone connected the dots and made a video explaining what is going on,or at least the best idea or theory of what is going on.Because using logic does NOT yeild a logical explanation for the way things have been the past year.
Just the explaination of how the vaccine works in simple terms is enough for me to stay away from the 1's that Bill Gates owns stock in the manufactors.
Some of Elons work would be great for folks that can't see, can't walk and so on because of a nuerological problem. But let a hacker get ahold of the person digitaly,a perfect assasian,or a perfect thief.
So much in that vid to prompt thinking.

I can't get anything but a white screen.I will try again later on another browser.
But it would be safe to say,we will never be back to what was normal pre wuhan virus.
Won't happen.Won't be allowed to happen.

I was worried that the length of the video would deter members from watching. Thank you for letting me know you took the time.
