I see this is all over the place depending where you live. Growing up in Eastern Europe i was the only one in the showers with an exposed head. Apparently back in the day an exposed head was a signal that the male was aroused and even absent an erection, it was considered vulgar and inappropriate in the shower to have your glans exposed.
