| On another thread, Admin reported that some people, when deleting their SYD account, give the reason that they are doing so because they are SCARED OF BECOMING GAY.
Seriously! They actually tell him that they are leaving out of fear of spontaneous orientation conversion.
Because, I guess, the overpowering, hypnotic sight of so many penises...flaccid and erect...might infect them with queer cooties or something.
It seems to me that once you reach the point where a photo of a dingus brings on the urge to pop one into your mouth deleting your account might just be "too little, too late." |
I know that reading and understanding can be HARD, but folks like you shouldn't toss the word "moron" around so casually. Unless, of course, they are looking in a mirror...
Some might prefer, exclusively the same gender, and that is fine, because that is what they feel, and want! Who is anyone to say that they are 'WRONG' for being different than the current 'NORM'??
Some are exclusively hetero, and some, for religious reasons. If that is what they believe, then so what?
Others, maybe, are more curious, more confrontational, exploring things, boundaries, and trying things that they just 'feel' at some time, with someone.
Why Isn't it just "NORMAL" to find someone you like, and share things you like, together?
Why do we even need these "LABELS"?? What are we defining?
I think the labels just divide, and segregate us!
So guys,if you feel attracted only to women in every day life iґd say you are still straight.

I used the "h" word which is banned. I forgot. I ate labels.
First, there is no way to be sure people tell truth on internet. So, that reason may be completely made up.
Second, if we assume they tell true - it's not so strange, really. They are probably already gay inside, but they are afraid of admitting it to themselves and possible changes in their lives caused by that.
I've seen this in real life, when people who thought they are straight realized something wrong with that but tried everything to avoid admitting to themselves they are gay. Some finally accepted it and managed to live happy life, some accepted and it did not work well because their family and friends did not accept it, some never accepted and are being haunted by it constantly. There is no way to be sure what's gonna be better in each particular case. It's a huge risk and people are naturally afraid of something like that.
As the site administrator has so wisely pointed out, the gayness may have been latent for years or even decades, but it was always there.
I certainly did. I'm gay, Gay, GAY, but when I was in my early thirties I had an affair with a woman that lasted the better part of a year. That didn't turn me straight.
What was the sex like? New and different. After ten plus years of man-on-man sex, this was something that was brand new. It was my opportunity to be a virgin all over again.
But perhaps the most rewarding part of this experience was the camaraderie I felt with straight men, something I hadn't known before. To walk down the street or to step into a restaurant with an attractive lady on my arm felt good.
So guys reading this, both straight and gay, again I say step out of your comfort zone and do some sexual experimenting. You'll be better men for it.
Probably so, but one can't **** oneself being something. Things should come naturally!
